Nomzamo Mbatha writes to the late director, Teboho Mahlatsi who died on Monday after battling cancer. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared the 49-year-old’s photo and captioned it with a note to him, which included some words of prayer.

“Your sun may have set way too soon Mr. Mahlatsi but I pray the rising One in your next, grants you peace and the kindness you effortlessly gave. I pray you to hold your family tight in every moment they are overwhelmed and arrested by the gravitas of grief,” she wrote.

“And as for us… all the thank you’s we feel we never said enough of will be dedicated to the work we will choose to make. There will never be another you even in our waiting with bated breath for the next offering that you spoke so passionately about… There’s much to say. With no time left,” Nom added.
