American actress Keke Palmer’s temporary domestic violence restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson has been extended for another six months. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Keke and Darius agreed to postpone their hearing that was scheduled for Tuesday, 9 January, which in turn extended Keke’s restraining order.

The media outlet has reported that the new court date is now set for the 16 July. This is when the restraining order is also set to expire. The documents also revealed that Keke and Darius postponed their hearing because they are said to be “engaging in mediation before a private judge”.Keke Palmer was first granted a temporary restraining order on the 10 November 2023 after she accused Darius Jackson, who is the father of her son, of physical and verbal abuse.

In her initial lawsuit complaint Keke detailed two alleged assaults, an alleged physical attack that occurred took place on the 5 November after she expressed that she did not want their then 8-month-old son, Leodis “Leo,” to attend a football game.

“At that point, he lunged at me, grabbing at my neck and face, knocked me backwards over the couch, stole my phone out of my hands and then ran out of the house”, she noted in her filling.

To support her claims the actress supplied security camera images and videos of the attack by Darius Jackson. As a result, Keke Palmer requested for sole custody of her son Leo, to which she was temporarily granted.

Darius Jackson also applied for his own restraining order in late December, alleging that Keke had been “verbally and physically abusive” during their relationship. He also labelled the actress as the “primary aggressor”.

Two years after their split, Lisa Bonet officially filed for divorce from Jason Momoa. On Monday, Bonet filed a petition to end her marriage to the “Aquaman” star. According to documents obtained by Fox News Digital, irreconcilable differences is cited as the reason for the filing. Per the documents, the couple has decided how they will split their assets and neither party will receive financial support.

The documents also say that Bonet and Momoa will get joint custody of their two children: daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15.Jason and Lisa first met in 2005, but didn’t marry until 2017. The legal document states the couple’s separation date as October 2020, over a year before the pair shared with the world that they were separating.

It will take a Los Angeles judge six months to grant the divorce, according to The Associated Press. Momoa’s marriage to Bonet was his first. However, Lisa was previously married to musician Lenny Kravitz. The couple share daughter, Zoë Kravitz, who recently became engaged to actor Channing Tatum. When announcing their split in January 2022, Bonet and Momoa shared a joint statement on Instagram.

“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring,” the statement at the time began. And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage,” they continued. Last year, there were several media reports on how businessman and club owner Kgolo ‘Da Guru’ Mthembu failed to pay his staff members at one of his nightclub establishments. He is the husband of Real Housewives Of Durban star ,Annie Mthembu, and the two have made many headlines for their marriage. A Durban deejay by the name of Wobbly, real name Andile Mahlinza, has accused Kgolo of owing him money after booking him several times at his establishments.

Breaking his silence, Wobbly said he has tried his best to understand. “Ngoba soMvelase sobabili. I have pulled up for you, getting loans from my friends just to get to your establishments and work, getting loans to survive from August and now I’m back home staying with my mom again as a 32-year-old father,” he said. “It hurts me to do this, but I’ve tried and tried to get answers about my payments for Rich and Views, till today I haven’t received any communication from you because no one else has answers.
