Joyner Lucas and Trae Tha Truth Star In New Bad Boys Ride Or Die Trailer

Joyner Lucas and Trae Tha Truth star in the latest trailer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die. In the final glimpse of the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence movie, Lucas and Trae briefly showcase their acting chops.

It shows the ADHD rapper, who plays a gang leader, menacingly saying through gold grills: “The bounty is dead or alive,” while the Houston native stands by his side.

Check out their appearance in the trailer below, which begins at about the 1:10 mark.

Earlier this week, Lucas teased his role in the film on Instagram. He posted a clip from the trailer and wrote in the caption: “BAD BOYS 4 [two red exclamation emojis] my second movie acting debut. [prayer hands emoji] @willsmith @martinlawrence.”

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence shared the first trailer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die back in March.

The teaser clip featured the Fresh Prince rocking a white tux and The Black Knight navigating a gun to his head while Meek Mill and Drake‘s “Going Bad” played in the background.

The film, also known as Bad Boys 4, hits theaters on June 7 courtesy of Sony Pictures. Before the trailer’s premiere, Will Smith fueled excitement for the movie when he revealed that filming had wrapped.

The Oscar winner shared a photo on Instagram of him and co-star Martin Lawrence on set, adding in the caption that the film was locked and loaded for a summer release.

“WRAPPED! Nothing but Magic every time I’m with my guy. See y’all June 7 for @BADBOYS 4!” he wrote.

Smith also shared a carousel of him with Grammy-winning singer/musician Jon Batiste, who stopped by the set to check out the last day of filming.

“@jonbatiste came to see Me & @martinlawrence on our last day of shooting @badboys. I don’t remember what I was talkin’ about but there was a whole lotta Hand-Talkin’ goin’ on!” he joked.

Joyner Lucas is no stranger to acting having previously starred alongside Mark Wahlberg in The Family Plan as well as in the TV series The Crew League.

Trae Tha Truth is a silver-screen veteran himself. Earlier this year, the Texas rapper starred in a film called Sole which was later released on Tubi.
