Singer and reality TV star Phelo Bala is in love again following his messy seperation and struggles to move on from his estranged husband Moshe Ndiki. According to Zimoja, Phelo is dating social media influencer, health enthusiast and fashion model Thami Dube.

A source told the publication that the pair met on social media and have a lot in common. However, fans might not see the former Joyous Celebration group member flaunting his new love as much as he did before because he reportedly wants to keep the relationship away from the public following his very public failed marriage. Phelo has, however, hinted at being in love and even showed off his new beau, although hiding his face.

Another source also alleged that Phelo – who is a sangoma – has met Thami’s friends. In addition, the musician’s sister, Pinky Bala, approves of his and she supports him. The Bala Family reality TV star found it difficult to get over his seperation from his radio and TV personality ex-husband Moshe.

During one of the episodes of the Mzansi Magic reality series, which aired in May, Phelo opened up about his marriage, saying he was heartbroken and hurt it didn’t work out.

“I really did love him and I still do. All he could’ve said was Phelo I love you, Phelo I need you to stay, that’s all and maybe things could’ve turned out differently but those words and all that stuff, I never got them,” he said.

In another episode, which aired in June, Phelo expressed hurt over news that Moshe was expecting twins through a surrogate. The singer said what triggered him the most was that the You Promised To Marry me host made the announcement on his birthday, which is on 24 March. Moshe welcomed his twin boys a few days ago, according to Zimoja. He has also been showing off his new bae, Mzie.

The former couple’s drama caught the attention of the public in 2019 when Phelo accused Moshe of physically abusing him during an altercation they had in their Northriding, Johannesburg home. The allegations led to a court order against the TV host who followed it up with a counter-interim order in 2020.

At the time, Moshe labelled Phelo a jealous partner who cannot handle his alcohol. He alleged that he was also physically abused by him. These incidences eventually led to the couple splitting up. However, they managed to rekindle their love and even celebrated their second wedding anniversary in 2021, before officially seperating again last year.
