South African media personality, Minnie Dlamini-Jones, took to Twitter on Friday, 31 July 2020 to thank her new friend, Lorna Maseko for a special delivery. The tweet, which casually stated, “Got a special delivery from my girl… You got skills mama.”, caught the attention of her followers, who found her message rather insincere

Many made mention of the fact that Minnie had fallen out with Lorna’s ex-bestie, Bonang Matheba, and claimed that Minnie’s tweet was intended to rub the new-found friendship in Queen B’s face. Some also claimed that Minnie thanking Lorna for the delivery was a dig at Bonang, who had been gifting A-listers with presents in promotion of his upcoming reality documentary, A Very Bonang Year. Amie Bogale stated, “LOL, my girl. Yhooo mar celebrity friendships are such a joke. So 1 minute you jump from being friends with someone and then you befriend their enemy. Wow.”
