Former Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musiḓa announces a new book titled, I Am Shudu. Taking to social media, she shared the cover of the book and introduced it to her audience.
I am excited to introduce my new book, I am Shudu, Finding my Voice, Knowing my Strength, which explores themes of bullying, identity, bravery, forgiveness, displaced families, and the bond of friendships. But most importantly, the power of community and the magic we find when we use our voices.
I am working with Jacana Media in this coming-of-age story, with beautiful illustrations from the award-winning Chantelle and Burgen Thorne. This book will inspire all 6 to 10 year olds,” she wrote. This isn’t Shudu’s first children’s book, as she launched “Shudu Finds Her Magic” in 2021.
In other news – Mother of the late celebrity chef Tibz has passed away
The mother of the late celebrity chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane has passed away. Tibz died on the 10th of February after being shot alongside his friend, AKA in Durban. ZiMoja reports that the chef is the only child of his mother, Ryhab Niniwe Motsoane.
Ryhab died at the age of 77, on 5 October and she was buried over the past weekend. A source opened up about the bond the son and mother shared before their death. Read more
