Dr Nandi struggles to keep eyes off Thabo Bester

Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana are arguably one of South Africa’s most notorious criminal couple. The pair stunned locals with their incredulous prison break, illegal business schemes and escape from SA. Since their capture in Tanzania earlier this year, they have separately been in and out of courtrooms. For the first time today, the pair were reunited and clips from the reunion have floored locals as many of them discuss how smitten Dr Nandi appears to be with Thabo Bester aka “The Facebook Rapist”.

In fact, social media users have compared Dr Nandi to serial killer Rosemary Ndlovu who is famous for her bizarre courtroom behaviour. Once upon a time, many young women aspired to be just like Nandipha Magudumana, a Wits University graduate who went on to be one of South Africa’s most popular doctors.

Young, successful and beautiful, Dr Nandi seemingly had it all. What many didn’t expect her to have was a secret relationship with a convicted rapist and murderer, Thabo Bester.

The story of the couple quickly began to unravel after a shopper noticed Bester and Dr Nandi shopping in a Sandton Woolies while he was meant to be behind bars.
Not long after the story broke, they were nabbed in Tanzania and have since been shocking SA with their courtroom attire and behaviour.

For the first time since their capture, the pair were reunited and it would appear there is nothing Dr Nandi was looking more forward to. In various clips from their appearance, the pair giggle with each other, hold one another’s hands while Nandi can’t keep her eyes off him.
