Diddy Blessed DJ Khaled’s We The Best Foundation With $150K Donation

Diddy received his flowers from a friend and fellow rap mogul DJ Khaled after paying it forward with a generous donation to his We the Best Foundation. On Saturday (July 23), the “God Did” hitmaker took to Instagram with a “donation alert” stemming from his We the Best Foundation’s first-ever golf tournament held in Miami earlier this week.

“Donation alert! That’s right, Sean Combs, Puff Daddy, and Diddy, donating $150K to We the Best Foundation. Biggest donation alert. Let’s go,” began the Don Dada, singing the Bad Boy mogul’s praises.

“Bless up, my brother. Family for life. Sean Combs, Puff Daddy, Diddy, he came in right there with the biggest donation for the foundation — We the Best Foundation — from Sean Combs Foundation,” he added of Combs’ generosity while holding a larger-than-life check.

He continued: “Diddy, we appreciate you. Thank you for this. Kids are gonna love it. The young world’s gonna love it. The community’s gonna love it. You always do this. You did this now. You’ve been doing this forever, for decades and we appreciate you for all the supporting and helping everybody. We love you.”

“Everybody that came out yesterday to the Big Golf Classic, it was so beautiful,” he concluded showing love to those who attended the event, before sounding off: “Mama Diddy, we love you. You know what it is. Puff, God bless you.”

“Bless up my brother @diddy !! BIGGEST DONATION ALERT!! Thank you for this amazing donation for the @wethebestfoundation and the kids!! LOVE BROTHER! LOVE IS THE ONLY WAY! Everyone the silent auction is still open!! Link in my bio!! LET’S GO!!” Khaled captioned the post.

Other attendees at the event included Jeezy, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Timbaland, and more.

Meanwhile, Diddy continues to duke it out with spirits company Diageo over the alleged mismanagement of his DeLeón Tequila brand.

Puff sued Diageo in May, accusing the company of racial discrimination. He alleged in his filing that the company marketed his DeLeón brand as an “urban” and “Black” tequila brand, limiting its commercial reach.

Diageo responded by cutting ties with Diddy entirely, calling the lawsuit a “sham.” The company further accused Puff of only contributing $1,000 to their partnership despite raking in over $1 billion in profits.

On Wednesday (July 20), Diddy condemned Diageo’s move via a new filing and said he wants the court to move forward with the suit.

“The message is clear — if you dare to shed light on Diageo’s conduct, you will be punished,” the mogul’s lawyer John Hueston said in documents filed in New York State Supreme Court. “While Diageo has self-serving misrepresented the goals of Combs’s lawsuit in the press, its attempt to retaliate against Combs for asserting his legal rights will not work in court.”

A representative for Diageo told The New York Post that: “This is a business dispute and should not be recast as anything other than that.”

They also claimed the company had the contractual right “to terminate the marketing services agreement in place for Ciroc and begin the wind-down of the DeLeón joint venture.”

“Our actions are consistent with our desire to protect the significant investment we have made in both brands and their future growth,” the spokesperson continued. “Mr. Combs’ longstanding bad faith actions, false accusations, and breaches of contract overwhelmingly support Diageo’s justified decision to sever ties.”
