Cassper Nyovest breathes fire after being forced to remove his Verse from DJ Maphorisa‘s song – Most depressing sh*t ever! The rapper revealed that Maphorisa called him last night, sent him the song and Mufasa spent the whole night writing. Only to wake up to twitter saying he should keep his verse.
Clearly black twitter is more powerful than what we imagine it to be and this clearly didn’t sit well with Cassper who felt depressed by the whole experience. He further wrote “Eish, I woke up to the whole country shittin on me saying they don’t want me on the record. Woulda smashed it out the park but this your moment Phorry!!! Let it ring without me!!! Don’t wanna force issues!!! 2020 needs that Cassper X Maphorisa X Kabza MAGIC DOE. VULA FTSEK HEH!!!”
And like many of us who don’t care about what twitter thinks and expected Cassper to do the same, he said “Nah I don’t listen to twitter. I just think the energy around the song changed when they heard I was on the song. I don’t wanna mess up Maphorisa’s moment with ppl discussing my verse instead of just enjoying the song.
The energy around the song was so positive until this morning. Can’t wait for Phorry to drop the song so we can continue dancing to his tune!!! Him and Kabza have been serving us all year and it seems like they might serve us all year long in 2020 as well. Phoisa!!! VULA FTSEK HEEEY!!!!”
The one positive thing that however cam from this is that Mufasa and Maphorisa ironed out their issues. Cassper confirmed this by saying “The most important thing about this whole thing is that me and Maphorisa have finally ironed out our issues. He apologise a while ago in Bloem but now we are in a good place and we will work together again. We are definitely gonna cook something for 2020. Kabza too!! Yatla!!”
