Trevor Noah was honoured at the Royal Palace in the Netherlands. The South African-born comedian was awarded the 2023 Erasmus Prize. The Erasmus Prize is an annual prize awarded by the board of the Premium Erasmianum Foundation to individuals or institutions that have made exceptional contributions to culture, society, or social science in Europe and the rest of the world. It is one of Europe’s most distinguished recognitions.
Taking to social media, the star shared photos of the event and appreciated the honour bestowed on him.
