Sizwe Dhlomo Says Instagram is killing the youth

Sizwe Dhlomo claims the popular social media platform, Instagram is destructive, especially to the youth.

The radio personality is known to be outspoken about certain issues on Twitter and this time around, he has garnered lots of reactions due to his claim.

“Instagram is killing the youth,” he wrote.

The tweet got mixed reviews as some claimed it’s not only the youth.

People supported Sizwe’s claim with different stories.

“Blame the youth, not Instagram. Instagram didn’t hold nobody hostage for them to use it,” a tweep wrote.

“The peer pressure on Instagram is just unbelievable. The pressure is so great, you end up being anxious, seeking validation from likes that hardly come…then depression kicks in. Your life becomes super miserable because you see the world thru Insta.”

However, Dhlomo didn’t reveal what made him vocal about his claim.

What do you think, is it a fact?
