Drake Responds To Kendrick Lamar’s Claim That He Has A Secret Daughter

Drake has been accused of hiding a daughter from the public on Kendrick Lamar‘s latest diss track, and he has now shared a partial response. On Friday (May 3), K. Dot released “Meet the Grahams” in response to his adversary’s “Family Matters.” On the joint, he claims that Drizzy has a daughter whom he abandoned while addressing her directly.

Drake

“Dear baby girl/ I’m sorry that your father not active inside your world/ He don’t commit to much but his music, yeah, that’s for sure/ He a narcissist, misogynist, livin’ inside his songs/ Try destroying families rather than takin’ care of his own/ Should be teachin’ you time tables or watchin’ ‘Frozen’ with you/ Or at your eleventh birthday, singin’ poems with you,” he raps.

While no evidence of this being true has been presented thus far, several fans of pointed to a 2012 tweet by the Canadian superstar that simply reads “Baby girl.” The reason this post is receiving a lot of attention is that its date matches his alleged daughter’s age as described in the Compton MC’s new song.

Other observers noted, however, that the tweet was posted on what would have been Aaliyah’s 33rd birthday, and Drizzy has long been a devoted fan of the late singer, whose nickname was “Baby Girl.”

Drake

The 6 God seems unfazed by the allegation, as he took to his Instagram Story soon after the cut went live and shared an image of himself looking unimpressed and bored.

“[four laughing emojis] nahhhh hold on,” he wrote beneath it. “can someone find my hidden daughter pls and send her to me…these guys are in shambles [three laughing emojis.]”

Back in 2018, Drake was involved in a beef with Pusha T that prompted a similar claim about a son — a claim that turned out to be true.

The Toronto native had a child named Adonis with former French model Sophie Brussaux in late 2017, but this information remained concealed until the Clipse MC made it public on “Story Of Adidon” a year later.

Drake

“You are hiding a child, let that boy come home/ Deadbeat mothafucka playin’ border patrol, ooh/ Adonis is your son/ And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real/ Love that baby, respect that girl/ Forget she’s a pornstar, let her be your world,” Push rapped on the track.

A month after the song went viral, the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker confirmed the rumor on his Scorpion LP.

“I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe/ That shit is in stone, sealed and signed/ She, not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine,” he admits on the B Side’s final song, “March 14.”

Drake

“Single father, I hate when I hear it/I used to challenge my parents on every album/ Now, I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent/ Always promised a family unit/ I wanted it to be different because I’ve been through it/ But this is the harsh truth now.”

He also addresses his decision not to publicize the kid’s birth in the song “Emotionless” with the bars: “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world/ I was hiding the world from my kid.”

Chris Brown and Quavo’s beef has finally gotten a reaction from Karrueche Tran, who appears to want to stay out of the mess completely. TMZ caught up with the model and actress on Friday (April 26). At first, she tried to claim that she hadn’t heard the two diss tracks – “Weakest Link” by Brown and “Over Hoes & Bitches” by the ex-Migos rapper – but eventually caved and admitted she’d checked it out.

Sheffield United 1-3 Nottingham Forest

Sheffield United 1-3 Nottingham Forest. Callum Hudson-Odoi scored twice as Nottingham Forest took a big step towards Premier League survival by beating already-relegated Sheffield United.

Ben Brereton Diaz’s penalty put the home side ahead at Bramall Lane before Hudson-Odoi’s superb curling effort brought Forest level midway through the first half.

The Blades responded well but missed a host of first-half chances and were punished when Ryan Yates put the visitors ahead with a thumping effort six minutes after the break.

Hudson-Odoi then made sure of a vital three points for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side when he cut inside and bent the ball past Blades goalkeeper Wes Foderingham into the far corner.

It was the 100th Premier League goal conceded by Sheffield United this season, equalling the record set by Swindon Town in 1993-94.

A frustrating day for the hosts was compounded when Anel Ahmedhodzic was sent off for a second bookable offence seconds before the full-time whistle.

With just two games remaining, Forest are now three points ahead of Luton Town in 18th and have a significantly better goal difference than Rob Edwards’ team.

Given the position Forest found themselves in before this game, winning was all that mattered and having secured the victory, they won’t care they were distinctly second best in the first 45 minutes.

Forest could have been in front less than two minutes in when Chris Wood was left unmarked but he volleyed wide from Morgan Gibbs-White’s cross.

Sheffield United soon had the upper hand, though, and after he was brought down by a sliding Gonzalo Montiel in the box, Brereton Diaz got back to his feet and powered the spot-kick down the middle.

Hudson-Odoi caressed a bouncing ball into the net from the corner of the penalty area 10 minutes later but given the Blades barrage that followed, it was a wonder how Forest remained level at half-time.

Brereton Diaz and Cameron Archer both spurned very presentable chances and Forest keeper Matz Sels was called into action time and again.

Wood hit the bar with a header late in the half to provide a reminder of the threat posed by the visitors and soon after the break, with United players calling for a foul by Murillo as a free-kick came in, Anthony Elanga put the ball back across goal, Willy Boly nodded it down and Yates smashed it in.

Although the home side still looked dangerous on occasion, that goal appeared to settle Forest and Hudson-Odoi clipped the post with what became a practice effort for the near identical shot he fired in soon afterwards.

They could have made it an even more emphatic victory in the last 25 minutes but three goals proved to be more than enough. It took some good fortune and while the job is not done yet, Forest have kept their fate in their own hands.

Four points from their last two games will make absolutely sure but, if results go their way, safety could be achieved next weekend when they host Chelsea.

Even after a first-half performance that should provide Sheffield United with encouragement heading into the summer, the afternoon ended with an unwanted record – or at least a share of it.

It has been that kind of season for the Blades.

With two games left, it would be a shock if they didn’t take the record for goals conceded from Swindon outright.

Moreover, even if they do manage two clean sheets, their 100 goals conceded will have come in four fewer games given Swindon leaked their century over a 42-game season.

Having a defence that has now conceded at least two goals in 10 straight league matches did not help, but it was their profligacy at the other end that was arguably more costly against Forest.

In the 15 minutes between Forest equalising and Wood hitting the bar, Chris Wilder’s side had three very good chances to go back in front but a combination of poor finishing and bad decision-making saw them all go begging.

They might have been out of sight but instead, a lack of quality in both boxes leaves them to ponder a 26th league defeat of the campaign.

Karrueche Reacts To Beef Between Chris Brown And Quavo

Chris Brown and Quavo’s beef has finally gotten a reaction from Karrueche Tran, who appears to want to stay out of the mess completely. TMZ caught up with the model and actress on Friday (April 26). At first, she tried to claim that she hadn’t heard the two diss tracks – “Weakest Link” by Brown and “Over Hoes & Bitches” by the ex-Migos rapper – but eventually caved and admitted she’d checked it out.

Karrueche

Regardless, though, she wants to stay out of the middle of their mess.

“I don’t feel. It is what it is. I’m living my life,” she said, in response to the question of how she felt about the diss tracks. “Working, paying my bills, taking time for myself and that’s all that matters. Whatever else is going on, I ain’t got nothing to do with it. I’m living a peaceful life. That’s all I want.”

She continued: “I just don’t want any parts, I just want peace and happiness. I want to work and thrive.”

The beef between Chris Brown and Quavo has been fueled by none other than 50 Cent, who has switched loyalties with each release. At first, he believed Brown’s “Weakest Link” was the superior track. “Oh my God, I just heard this, if Quavo doesn’t come with some heat it’s a wrap. First, the Fatboys break up now this!” he said about it at the time.

Karrueche

But then, in an Instagram post on Monday (April 22), Fif shared the cover art for Quavo’s latest Breezy diss, “Over Hoes & Bitches” – a play on Chris’ OHB crew name.

“I don’t know why I like all of this, [shrug emoji] but I like it !” the G-Unit boss wrote. “This heat keeps it coming. Breezy gonna punch him in the face.”

Released earlier that same day in response to Brown’s “Weakest Link,” “Over Hoes & Bitches” finds the former Migos rapper attacking his R&B rival over his history of domestic violence, alleged drug use, and career struggles, among other things.

Quavo later references his rumored fling with Chris Brown’s ex Karrueche Tran, which is believed to be the at the heart of their feud.

Karrueche

“Lil’ boy wanna die ’bout some coochie? Are you still fucked up ’bout Karrueche?/ You tried to beat up Teyana but Usher wouldn’t let you do it/ The cocaine got ’em, your honor, bipolar disorder, no wonder/ You was the greatest, n-gga, you fumbled, going out sad, I’m watching you crumble,” he raps.

Ice Spice Accused Of Cheating On Boyfriend With Lil TJay

Ice Spice (real name Isis Naija Gaston) is being accused of cheating on her longtime boyfriend with Lil Tjay, among other things, according to a person who claims she’s the rapper’s former best friend.

Ice Spice

Singer Baby Storme took to X (formerly Twitter) with a series of posts in an attempt to expose the Bronx rapper on Saturday (April 27). Along with pictures and screenshots of texts, she pledged to expose the 24-year-old for being a fake friend and a bad person.

“This is Cleo,” she wrote with a photo of Ice and a girl named Cleopatra. “the girl she chose to be her ‘best friend to the public.’ when in reality, it was me behind the scenes. Cleo & her are not best friends. Isis has always hated Cleo. But she used her so she could appear ‘closer to blackness.’ she also lied about being Nigerian. She stole that from me.”

In another post, she shared a long text she allegedly sent Ice, accusing her of being a fake friend since high school and only rekindling their friendship in recent years because Storme has a following in music.

Storme then shared a text that she claims was between her and the Bronx native to try and prove that the latter is also a colorist. In the chat, the “Munch” rapper is talking about how she has no sympathy for “dark skin” people who say they have to work harder because of her skin color.

Adding fatphobia to the allegations, she shared another text screenshot in which Ice seemingly refers to a person as “wide body.”

In her final post, she said that the “Deli” hitmaker cheated on her longtime producer and boyfriend RIOTUSA with Lil Tjay at one point.

Ice Spice

“EJ, ‘Riot’ is her producer and boyfriend since 2019,” she wrote. “he was the real mastermind behind her career & the one who pushed her to rap. She cheated on him with Tjay & then rapped about it on their song together. if you don’t believe me, just go back & read the lyrics to ‘Gansta boo.’

“but this time, read carefully. They were talking about him. She knows no loyalty. not even to the only person who has always been there for her. Riot.”

Ice Spice and Lil Tjay linked up in January 2023 for their first collaboration on a song titled “Gangsta Boo” from her debut EP Like..?

Named after the late Memphis rap legend and built around a sample of Diddy’s “I Need a Girl (Part 2),” the song is full of flirtatious chemistry as both artists rap about their respective romantic interests.

The two sparked dating rumors shortly after the song’s release when the 22-year-old commissioned an expensive watch for his collaborator.

Ice Spice

On Valentine’s Day, Benny The Jeweler posted a video on Instagram to show off a new rose gold Richard Millie RM-05 he made for Ice at the request of Tjay.

The clip features the diamond-encrusted watch in all its glory, with Benny dishing out details of the watch such as its white band as well as the assortment of diamonds on its face.

Many in the comments suggested that this it proof of a romance between the two, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Reports began coming in that the aircraft made a crash landing in Dallas but thankfully left nobody injured.

Burnley 1-4 Newcastle United

Burnley 1-4 Newcastle United. Burnley are staring at a second Premier League relegation in three seasons after being humbled at Turf Moor by a rampant Newcastle United.

Vincent Kompany’s men won the Championship last term and had a glimmer of survival hope before Saturday’s game, but following this wretched collapse at home and Nottingham Forest’s 3-1 win at Sheffield United, they sit five points from safety with two games remaining.

The Clarets started brightly but could not capitalise as Jacob Bruun Larsen’s effort in the third minute was smothered by Martin Dubravka, while Kompany was left incensed after referee Anthony Taylor did not award a penalty for Bruno Guimaraes’ shove on Lorenz Assignon in the box.

The visitors took the lead with their first attack of the game as Callum Wilson reacted quickest to slot in after Arijanet Muric parried Alexander Isak’s effort back into the danger area.

Eddie Howe’s men looked devastating each time they poured forward and took total control by netting twice more before half-time courtesy of first-time finishes by Sean Longstaff and Guimaraes.

Josh Brownhill tugged Anthony Gordon’s shirt in the box in the second half and though Isak’s penalty was saved by Muric, the Swede lashed in soon after for his 20th league goal of the campaign.

Dara O’Shea’s header gave Burnley a late consolation goal but Newcastle’s emphatic victory moves them up a place to sixth, two points ahead of Manchester United who travel to Crystal Palace on Monday (kick-off 20:00 BST).

Some Burnley supporters had started to believe the great escape was on after a run of one defeat in eight games clawed their side to within two points of safety.

But as the story has been time and again this season, Burnley got off to an upbeat start yet could not find the breakthrough before crumbling at the other end of the pitch.

Burnley head to Europe-chasing Tottenham next Saturday and host Forest on the final day of the season, but it is a big ask now for them to take it to the wire in the unlikeliest of survival stories.

The Clarets needed to win on Saturday and the result may have been different if Larsen had been able to convert early on or official Taylor had pointed to the spot when Assignon went down in the box.

The French full-back was in the thick of the action and nearly gave his side the breakthrough, cutting on to his left foot and firing a shot at goalkeeper Dubravka.

Newcastle, though, kept their composure and took their opponents apart with some incisive play which puts them in the mix for Europa League football next season.

Striker Wilson, who scored twice at Turf Moor to send Burnley down two seasons ago, may well have contributed to doing the same this time with an opportunistic effort on 19 minutes.

Full-back Tino Livramento forced Muric into a full-stretch save but they did not have to wait much longer for more goals with Longstaff and Guimaraes finding space in the box before converting clinical finishes.

Burnley were woeful and provided more joy for the elated visiting supporters in the second period as Isak punished slack defending following his penalty miss to become Newcastle’s fifth player to reach the 20-goal milestone in the top-flight.

Newcastle embarrassed Sheffield United 8-0 earlier this season and could have run riot once more, but Guimaraes’ curling shot was tipped wide by Muric while the livewire Gordon dragged off target late on.

Brentford 0-0 Fulham

Brentford 0-0 Fulham. Ivan Toney’s struggles in front of goal continued as Brentford played out a goalless Premier League draw with Fulham.

England striker Toney registered just one shot on target – and two in total – as he drew a blank for the 10th Premier League game in succession.

But Bees boss Thomas Frank backed Toney to rediscover his goalscoring touch soon.

“There are spells for any striker where they don’t score in a period of time and then they’ll do it again,” Frank told BBC Match Of The Day.

“Ivan is a top player and he will score again soon.”

Raul Jimenez had Fulham’s best chance when he was picked out by Adama Traore’s low cross but contrived to miss the target from close range.

Bryan Mbeumo hit the crossbar for the Bees who also had a decent shout for a penalty turned down after Yoane Wissa appeared to be bundled over by Sasa Lukic.

Fulham moved up to 12th spot ahead of Brighton on goal difference, although the Seagulls have two games in hand, while Brentford remain 16th.

Brentford’s top-flight status had already been secured while Fulham’s bid to finish in the European places was over.

It meant there was little to play for at the Gtech Community Stadium beyond three points and bragging rights for two clubs situated only a handful of miles apart in west London.

That allowed both sides to play with a level of attacking freedom, and there was a degree of intensity to the contest.

However, there was also lack of quality in and around the penalty box and among those to have a subdued afternoon in that regard was Toney.

The 28-year-old scored four goals in the first five games when he returned to action at the end of January following an eight-month suspension for betting offences.

Since he scored in a 4-1 defeat by Liverpool on 17 February there has been a goal for England in a mid-March friendly international against Belgium, but nothing for the Bees.

He is now on his joint longest run without a goal having also gone 10 games without finding the net between February and April 2019 while at Peterborough United.

In truth, Toney saw little of the ball against Fulham and, starved of service from his team-mates, largely coasted through a game with little at stake.

It remains to be seen whether Toney shows enough in Brentford’s remaining two games to squeeze into Gareth Southgate’s 26-man England squad for Euro 2024.

Rick Ross Jokingly Blames Plane Crash On Drake

Rick Ross‘ custom private jet is arguably his favorite material flex, and he has now used it to once again stoke his rivalry with former collaborator Drake. On Friday (May 3), photographs of Rozay’s Gulfstream G550 plane roughed up in a grassy field began circulating online. Reports began coming in that the aircraft made a crash landing in Dallas but thankfully left nobody injured.

Rick Ross

Soon after, the 48-year-old himself corroborated the reports, while using the situation as an excuse to provoke the Canadian rapper as he wrote: “My jet just crashed; Drake OvO F16 fighter jet just shot us down.”

This came soon after Drizzy liked an Instagram post by Toronto media outlet Keep6ixsolid about the incident that was captioned: “The retired Miami government employee and current Cosplayer walked away unharmed because the wing stopped the plane.”

When Akademiks shared a screenshot of the Florida native’s story that read “DRAKE FIGHTER JET SHOT US DOWN,” Rozay took to its comments section and wrote: “I saw Whiteboy in the cockpit just like Tom Cruise in Top Gun”

Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar dropped “Like That” in late March, which features the Los Angeles MC devoting his entire guest verse to taking shots at Drake and J. Cole. The beef has since escalated a great deal, with Ross, The Weeknd, and A$AP Rocky joining K.Dot’s side and Cole withdrawing from the beef altogether after releasing a diss track of his own.

The Bawse even released a diss track of his own aimed at the Toronto native. Released in response to the 6 God’s “Push Ups” joint, “Champagne Moments” features the Teflon Don hitmaker accusing his rival of undergoing cosmetic surgery on his nose to appear more “white.”

“You ain’t never want to be a n-gga anyway, n-gga. That’s why you had an operation to make your nose smaller than your father’s nose, n-gga,” he says in the song’s outro.

Rick Ross

Additionally, he also explains why the former collaborators fell out in the first place: “I unfollowed you, n-gga, ’cause you sent the mutahfuckin’ cease-and-desist to French Montana, n-gga. You sent the police, n-gga, hatin’ on my dog project.”

Shortly after Kendrick’s “Euphoria” diss track took the Hip Hop community by surprise earlier this week, Rozay shared a clip on his Instagram Stories and addressed the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker with some condescending advice.

“White boy, white boy, white boy; crodie, crodie, crodie [Toronto slag for ‘Brodie’],” he began, before poking fun at his adversary’s private jet. “Do they even have WiFi on that cargo plane? He may not even hear this yet, but look white boy, I know we not friends but let me give you this advice ’cause you ain’t got nobody ’round you or you ain’t got no real n-ggas ’round you, let me just put it like that.”

Rick Ross

Referring to the scathing cut’s opening section to once again poke fun at the Canadian superstar’s mixed-race background, he continued: “Stop. Don’t respond, don’t respond. You ain’t even peep when the intro came on with the Teddy Pendergrass [sample] — that was that Black vibe. Don’t do it.”

He continued, with a nod to rumors that Drake had been using Lil Yachty as a ghostwriter: “Don’t go write an eight-minute verse that— I know n-gga [Lil] Yachty, you want to get that money. You ain’t wrong, n-gga, keep buying them big houses, but I’ma tell you this like a real n-gga: ain’t no more BBLs, ain’t no more ass fillers, ain’t no more cheek fillers.”

Metro Boomin Takes Credit For Reviving Rap

Metro Boomin has taken credit for Hip Hop’s heat streak over the past few months, insinuating that he is breathing new life into the genre.

Metro Boomin

Taking to his Instagram on Thursday (May 3), the super-producer posted photos of himself in the studio, alongside a photo of a jacket that read “WE DON’T TRUST YOU,” implying that he’s hard at work on the next masterpiece.

“HIP-HOP IS ALIVE AND WELL,” he wrote in the caption.

Check it out below.

Metro Boomin

Part of Metro Boomin’s confidence stems from the success of his recent projects. In addition to the collaborations with Future on the aforementioned, We Don’t Trust You, the super-producer recently teamed up with The Alchemist and Kevin Durant to create their sneaker collections with Nike.

Metro’s shoe — aptly called the KD 17 “Metro Boomin” — pays homage to the producer’s blockbuster album Heroes & Villains with an electrifying, purple-and-blue design.

The tongue also nods to his previous album, 2018’s Not All Heroes Wear Capes, and its jumping man silhouette, while the left heel features a purple “Leslie” signature, honoring Metro’s late mother.

Metro Boomin

The Alchemist’s shoe — the KD 17 “The Alchemist” — features his ALC Records logo on the tongue and comes in a Coconut Milk colorway, with splashes of Atomic Violet and Hyper Grape.

The unique kicks come courtesy of Durant’s “Producer Series,” which highlights his love of the sonic architects behind the culture. Fellow producer Bink! (Kanye West’s “Devil in a New Dress,” JAY-Z’s “Blueprint”) also has his shoes.

The Nike KD 17 is set to hit shelves on May 17 in the standard “Sunset” colorway. The “Producer Series” styles are expected to follow in the coming months, retailing for $160 each.

Though Kevin Durant is widely considered a Hip Hop connoisseur, he was trolled online earlier this year after naming one of Drake’s recent LPs as his favorite album of all time.

Metro Boomin

The Phoenix Suns shared a video montage on Instagram in which members of their roster were asked to name one record that personally resonates with them the most.

Players responded with a wide range of picks, with Bradley Beal naming The Off Season by J. Cole, Josh Okogie going with SLIME SEA2ON by Young Thug, and Damion Lee picking The Black Album and The Blueprint by JAY-Z.

KD, however, responded: “My favorite album of all time has to be Drake’s CLB [Certified Lover Boy].”

Arsenal 3-0 Bournemouth

0

Arsenal 3-0 Bournemouth. Arsenal cruised past Bournemouth to go four points clear at the top of the Premier League before Saturday’s later games.

The Gunners dominated the opening 45 minutes and took the lead just before half-time from the penalty spot.

Kai Havertz was brought down by Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers and Bukayo Saka coolly rolled the ball into the net from the resulting spot-kick.

Arsenal doubled their lead in the 70th minute when Declan Rice won the ball on the edge of the box and teed up Leandro Trossard, who curled the ball home from inside the area, before Rice scored in added time to boost the Gunners’ goal difference.

Bournemouth threatened a lot more in the second period and Dominic Solanke forced David Raya into a save in the second half before Justin Kluivert flashed a shot wide.

The Cherries thought they had pulled a goal back through Antoine Semenyo but his strike was ruled out for a foul on David Raya by Solanke in the build up.

Arsenal centre-back Gabriel also had a goal ruled out late on for offside after he smashed a volley into the top corner.

The victory means Arsenal are clear at the top but their four-point lead may only last a few hours as title rivals Manchester City play later this afternoon.

During the match, Arsenal and their fans paid tribute to 14-year-old supporter Daniel Anjorin, who was killed in a sword attack on Tuesday.

The Gunners started the game extremely quickly and had Bournemouth under pressure for the majority of the first half.

Mikel Arteta’s side had 11 shots in the opening 20 minutes of the match – the joint-most by a Premier League side this season – but for a while it looked as though it might not be their day.

William Saliba had a shot well saved by Travers after he exchanged passes with Saka, before the England winger himself had an effort saved by the Bournemouth keeper.

Rice had a good chance to open the scoring in the first half but he shot just wide from a Havertz knock down.

Trossard, Thomas Partey, Martin Odegaard and Takehiro Tomiyasu all had further opportunities before Saka finally made the breakthrough from the spot.

The tension eased when Trossard finished well to double the lead, and Rice’s strike in added time added further gloss to the scoreline.

The victory is Arsenal’s fourth win on the bounce as they keep the pressure on Manchester City and hope the champions drop points in the title race.

The Cherries are having their best ever season in the top flight and their points tally of 48 is a club record.

However, they were pinned back for most of the first half as they struggled to deal with Arsenal’s quality and had only one shot before the break, which came in the opening minute of the match from Dango Ouattara.

Eighteen-goal striker Solanke was well marshalled by the Arsenal defence and will be disappointed he did not take full advantage when Gabriel stepped on the ball in the 17th minute, but Saliba prevented him from getting a shot off.

But manager Andoni Iraola will be pleased with how his side improved in the second half and they gave Arsenal a scare before the second and third goals went in.

The visitors will feel they should have had a goal through Semenyo, but VAR Peter Bankes agreed with on-field referee David Coote that Raya was pushed in the build-up to the goal.

Bournemouth can still finish in the top half of the table but they did not come too close to picking up any more points in this match.
