Radio personality, Mark Pilgrim, has died aged 53. Pilgrim lost his battle with cancer on Sunday morning. He was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in February last year.
He later revealed that cancer had spread to his spine and lymph nodes. Pilgrim documented his fight against the disease through his social media account, including the days he spent in the hospital.
He kept his fans motivated by his determination to fight.
On Saturday his employer Hot 102.7 FM said Pilgrim was taking a break from social media to focus on getting better.
