Penny Ntuli heartbroken after surviving severe cold

Penny Ntuli

Penny Ntuli opened up about her experience in the snow while recovering. The radio presenter trended and made headlines after reporting that she was stuck in the snow on the N3. It was further reported that she’d been rushed to the hospital as she fell ill due to a severe cold.

“It was not by our own wisdom to survive this, but it was by God’s grace. The snow was literally as high as my vehicle’s door level. I did not think we’re going to make it,” Penny updates the public.

A relative of Ntuli recently revealed in a video that was shared on social media: “Penny started feeling unwell [Saturday] evening, so we turned on the car heater. By morning, when we could finally move, her condition worsened, and she felt extremely cold to the touch. We took her to her mother’s house; she’s not well, but she’s alive.”

Penny Ntuli says she’s heartbroken by the people who died due to the massive snow.

“I’m so hurt. People lost their lives, some on their way to bury their loved ones,” says Ntuli. Two people died due to hyperthermia. KZN authorities also revealed on Monday, 23 September that the N3 had since been cleared and traffic was flowing once again.
