Jojo Robinson rushed to the hospital over kidney issue

Jojo Robinson was recently rushed to the hospital due to a kidney issue. The health scare has raised concerns among her fans, who are sending their well-wishes for her speedy recovery. Robinson’s condition underscores the importance of timely medical intervention and the need for public figures to prioritize their health.

Further updates on her condition are expected as she undergoes treatment and recovery. Long story short, Rushed to the emergency room at 1am with excruciating pain, found out I had a 1.6cm kidney stone blocking my urethra, which ultimately had led to a back log in my kidney where it had all turned to puss in the left kidney.

My doctor removed the large stone and placed a stint in the kidney to help save it. The reality TV star said she will be going under the knife to save her kidney.

“I was then told my kidney was a week or 2 away from failure if this didn’t happen.. In 2 weeks I have to have another surgery to remove the stint as well as the other stones still in my kidney,” she concluded. Jojo shared photos of her friends who visited her while she was in the hospital.

Denise Zimba lets the cat out of the bag after her estranged husband Jakob Schlichtig demands that she return their two children to Germany. The couple tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony in April 2022, but it came to an end, and the actress has been caring for her girls. According to Sunday World, Zimba left the marriage because of infidelity and negligence of his responsibilities to her and the kids.

“What led to my depression, amongst other things except cheating, was that he was not helping me at all with [the] children. The second applicant had mentioned many times that I am not a priority to him, and the 2% energy he did was for the children, and that [I] must accept the ‘phase’ we are in,” the South African star revealed in court papers.

“I requested him to pay for a flight for my mother to come to Germany and help me with children, he also refused, but he took his cat to the doctor and paid 900 euros,” she stated in the affidavit.

Zimba further revealed that her German husband abused her emotionally and cheated on her with other women.

“The second applicant is indeed cheating. I once found him masturbating while texting another female, and (name withheld) was asleep in the room. During the confrontation, I requested his phone as he was shaking. He voiced that he cannot be in a marriage where he cannot touch himself,” she said in the affidavit.

“The second applicant is emotionally abusing me with words because he does tell me that I am poor and I cannot do anything because I do not have money.”

“The second applicant also voiced that l will never get a man better than him, and no man wants a woman with two kids,” she stated in the affidavit. The actress also explained why she won’t be returning her kids back to Germany.

“No one will be looking after the children in Germany because the second applicant is a businessman in Germany and in South Africa, and he is not helping me at all with the children. He even refused to help me by hiring a helper for me,” reads the affidavit.

“I am unemployed and looking after the children. My mother is unemployed and helping me. No one will be looking after children in Germany.”

“In Germany, we rented an apartment. The lease is expiring not long [from now]. In South Africa, we own a house in Cape Town,” she stated.

Denise Zimba said Jakob’s family were of no help to her while she was in Germany, as they only visited 4 times, and refused to assist with the kids. However, she gives her ex-husband the chance to see his kids whenever he is in South Africa.

Ishmael Morabe is reportedly taking legal action against Arthur Mafokate. The dispute arises from allegations that Mafokate has not paid Morabe his dues for their collaborations over the years. Ishmael claims that despite contributing significantly to their joint projects, he has not received proper financial compensation.

This legal move is aimed at recovering what he believes is rightfully owed to him. The case underscores the importance of clear agreements and fair compensation in the entertainment industry.

At the time, EMI, now Universal Music, was handling the distribution for the artist and said all funds were paid to Arthur. At the time, David Dison replied to the query made by Ishmael saying, all payments were made to Arthur. “We note that the projects were released worldwide under 999 Music and Sony Music,” Dison said at the time. Sony also responded to Ishmael’s legal team stating that, “The payment for all royalties was made to 999 Music and can’t disclose any further information.

The legal team stated: “If Arthur failed to send the statement for the paid royalties, Ishmael would lodge a complaint to the Information Regulator and make an application to the court. The team gave him until 28 June 2024, which a close source said, he has not complied. “Ishmael will be taking legal action. Arthur has not given statements and he has completely ignored the request.

He got a mere R60 000 for the songs and that is utter exploitation.” When called for comment, Ishmael said he did not want to speak on the matter. “The issue is with my legal team who are in communication with 999. They will not be happy with me commenting on the matter,” he said. Arthur failed to respond to questions on the matter before publishing.

Multi-award-winning star Makhadzi is making headlines as she celebrates her birthday. Recently turning 28, Makhadzi, born on 30 June 1996 in Ha-Mashamba Tshivhangani, Limpopo, received warm birthday wishes from fans.

Known for her illustrious career, she started singing at 13 and later released several successful albums, including her breakthrough hit “Matorokisi” in 2019. Her album “Kokovha” under Open Mic Productions was a major success. Makhadzi has built houses for her family and owns three properties and an impressive car fleet.

She started singing at a younger age. At 13, she performed at Taxi ranks before joining a musical group, Makhirikhiri, as a dancer. However, Makhadzi later switched the floor from dancing to music.

As an independent artist, she went on to release three studio albums: Muvhango (2009), Ndo Tshinya Ni? (2011), and Litshani u Ntsala Murahu (2012). On 1 December 2014, she dropped her fourth studio album, Rita Dee.

Against the backdrop of her newfound fame Makhadzi went on to drop two other albums before her breakthrough. In 2019, she dropped her smash hit Matorokisi, and the song topped the charts. Against the release of Matorokisi, she joined Open Mic Productions.

Her first project under the record label was a complete success. Makhadzi’s studio album Kokovha became one of her most streamed projects, and it was certified with a gold plaque.

Since then, she has been winning big and has released several successful projects. Makhadzi has capped her illustrious career with several accolades.

However, the star singer has made millions from her illustrious career and has splurged thousands, if not millions, on her immediate family. She built houses for her family before she bought three properties for herself. Like those before her, Makhadzi has a soft spot for exotic cars and an impressive fleet to show for it.

Taraji P. Henson revealed that she has been “an advocate for mental wellness. The 53-year-old actress spoke to People magazine about her new children’s book, You Can Be a Good Friend (No Matter What!). The Color Purple actress said, “What inspired this book is that I work in mental health.

She went on to say, “I’m an advocate for mental wellness, and so it’s always about meeting people where they are and trying to help as much as I can — make this journey called life a little easier for all of us.

Moreover, she implies her mental health approach even to her career in acting. Henson noted that she is “always thinking about my character’s mental state in any character I portray.

She pointed out, “I don’t care what character that I’m dealing with, they have a cross that they have to bear, which is affecting their mental health. Me becoming an advocate for mental health has changed the way I look and approach my work,” the actress added.

South African singer, Tyla has scooped the Best New Artist and Best International Act categories at the BET Awards in Los Angeles. She missed out on the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist category, nominated alongside Beyonce among others.

The global hit Water is also up for the Viewers Choice Award. Tyla called it ‘crazy’ when she was named Best New Artist, saying it was a gift to be at the BET Awards, dedicating the prize to African stars who had come before her.

She missed out to Sza in the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist category but did scoop the Best International Act beating out Amapiano superstar Focalistic and Nigeria’s Ayra Starr among others.

Tyla’s BET success follows her first Grammy win earlier this year when she won the inaugural Best African Music Performance category for her Afro-pop hit Water, marking two significant achievements in a music career that appears only on the up.
