Pabi Moloi’s baby daddy claims she bribed his lawyer to delay their divorce case after he demanded for division of their estate Pabi Moloi is accused of bribing her baby daddy’s lawyer to stall their divorce proceedings in Joburg High Court.

According to Sunday World, the presenter’s estranged husband, Ruan Adams revealed that his lawyer Lutendo Siphuma, of SL Attorney, accepted a bribe from Moloi or her lawyers to delay their divorce case, in which he demanded half of the former YFM presenter’s lucrative estate and R8 500 per month in spousal maintenance. The lawyer withdrew as Ruan’s attorney and wrote a letter to the media personality as regards the accusation and threats.

“We have also been accused of having taken a bribe from your offices and/or from your client directly to stall the divorce process and/or the Rule 43 application, despite having fully communicated with Mr Adams that we need fees for counsel to proceed with the trial as the matter is trial-ready.”

“Due to his conduct, which we all can attest to, we find ourselves having to terminate our mandate as we cannot tolerate various threats and other accusations that keep coming from him and his unbecoming and continuous conduct that seriously jeopardise and disturb the attorney-client relationship,” read the letter that Siphuma submitted to the Joburg high court last week.

A criminal case will also be opened against Adams.

“Following our withdrawal as attorneys of record for Mr Adams, our office intends to open a criminal case against Mr Adams for the death threats and harassment we had been receiving from him,” read the letter.

Adams wanted division of their joint estate because, he said, he was married to Moloi in a community of property, while the Power FM radio host was adamant he was not entitled to half of her wealth because they were not husband and wife.
