Nota Baloyi Threatens To Beat Up Kwesta For His Kids To See

Kwesta

Following a podcast interview with MacG, rapper Kwesta finds himself at loggerheads with Nota Baloyi. This comes after a series of tweets where Baloyi has blatantly lambasted Kwesta and even threatened to throw him hands. What seemed to have rubbed Nota Baloyi the wrong way is how Kwesta denied ever being made him. To some extent, Baloyi has always claimed to have nurtured Kwesta’s music career.

However, in the interview, Kwesta reveals that he was never Baloyi’s artist nor was he signed under him. Baloyi then proceeds to call Kwesta a pathological liar after he admitted to having never approached Baloyi. But in fact, he was approached because he is good at what he does.

“I know why niggas are here, niggas are here because I am dope. You know, that is the bottom line. Whether it is a big thing to say you know. MacG: “What are you saying dawg, so when Ngudu plays you are not getting any royalties? Kwesta: No, no, that is not what I am saying. I am saying what you make from the shows and also the pretenses that which things are done.

Nota has this idea that he signed me, I am his artist. MacG: “And he made you? Kwesta: And obviously that he made me because he has been obviously saying that. And why I was also saying that I have never worked with a person that I thought could make me. I did not approach anyone that I thought could make me. I got approached because you know I am fuck*ng dope” said Kwesta

Baloyi then responds to the podcast interview clip making rounds on social media by calling Kwesta an alcoholic and or a drunkard.

“Baphelelaphi ubu-dope nxila ndini? Rha!” wrote Nota Baloyi

“I swear if I hear Kwesta tell another lie about me, I’m gonna beat him up for his kids to see… I’ve had enough of that boy. It’s going to leave him emotionally scarred. How are you a 35year pathological liar? Why must you always lie? Why can you never be honest? It’s disgusting!” wrote Nota Baloyi

Apparently, both Kwesta and DJ Maphorisa who produced the smash hit ‘Ngudu’ did not want to feature Cassper Nyovest on the song. However, Baloyi claims as the record producer he decided otherwise.

“DJ Maphorisa & Kwesta were both in against putting Cassper Nyovest on Ngud’ because they thought he would get the credit for making the song a hit… Just imagine that level of thinking. It was my call as the record label & producer as to who will be featured. I’m glad I decided!” added Nota Baloyi

Emtee got his first big break in the music industry through the then fairly new and lauded record label Ambitiouz Entertainment. At the time, the record label was the hub of up-and-coming emerging Hip-Hop talent with the likes of Fifi Cooper, A-Reece, and B3nchmarQ all signed to the label.

However, that quickly changed, as the first great exit of the artists from the record label was reported. These reports were followed by allegations of corruption and exploitation experienced by said artists at the hands of the record label. Learn more
