Murdah Bongz celebrates Asante’s birthday in style

Bongani Mohosana, better known as Murdah Bongz, has dedicated his second album to his daughter Asante, who celebrates her second birthday on Friday. In celebration of the event, Murdah Bongz released the pre-order of the new album titled Asante. Taking to social media on Friday, he shared a heartfelt birthday message accompanied by a video for Asante.

“This is the moment, I felt it when we created Burning Bush. I felt like the world needed to hear it and when we were done, I was not,” he wrote.

“With that being said ladies and gentlemen, here are the pre-order songs to Asante 2, another major moment I will talk about closer to my daughter’s birthday. DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongz welcomed their baby girl in 2021.

On Zinhle’s reality show The Unexpected on BET Africa, she revealed that the father of her second child had done right by her and married her the traditional way.

The couple went public with their relationship sometime in 2021, after reports that the couple had been dating for a while in private.

In August 2022, Zinhle said she was excited to be Murdah Bongz’ wife in the first episode of the second season of the reality show.

In the first season, the Umlilo hitmaker was adamant she did not want to get married. She said there was “never anyone I wanted to marry”.
