More drama between Lebo M and his estranged wife

Grammy award-winning producer Lebo M – real name Lebohang Morake — is reportedly accusing his estranged wife, Pretty Samuels, of cheating and being a fraudster.

According to Sunday World, tlan associate to the couple revealed that the media personality has Siad that Samuels will not get a single cent from him. Samuels reportedly wants Lebo M to support her financially. This is because he receives royalties from Disney for his music and productions on a monthly basis. She claimed that the Lion King composer would be getting a $10 million (R187 million) payout for his music catalogue.

According to the source, Samuels also wants a division of the estate, which includes a R5.5 million property in Pearls of Umhlanga as well as a R1.8 million property in Cedar Acres, Sandton. In addition, she is demanding R2 million from him to cover her legal costs for their pending divorce.

However, Lebo M has reportedly accused his wife of cheating on him during their 18-month-long union. He said she deserted him as early as July 28, 2023, when she became aware that he was thinking of divorcing her because of her unfaithfulness and untrustworthiness,” said Lebo M’s acquaintance.

Since their seperation, the producer alleged that he last saw Samuels in Fourways, Johannesburg, driving an expensive car, an indication that she was not as destitute as she claims.

He further denied that they were married in community of property, saying he would not have made that mistake because of Samuels’ alleged fraud history. According to Lebo M, Samuels misappropriated more than R2 million when she was employed by the National Films and Video Foundation. He reportedly claimed to have intervened on the matter to help resolve it. According to a statement by the producer in August last year, he claimed to have found muthi “tucked away” in Samuels’ closet.

A source who spoke to ZiMoja said that there were pink and blue cleansing salts, called iziwasho, among other traditional medicines. On a tree on the west wing of the home, Lebo M’s assistant and helper found isibopho –which, according to reality TV star and sangoma Gogo Skhotheni, is used to bind the relationship so it never ends.

In the same month, Lebo M claimed that he was calling off their wedding because Samuels refused to sign an affidavid confirming that she had not opened any life cover policies in his name.
