Natasha Joubert pens an appreciation note after being announced as the winner of Miss South African 2023. The first runner-up is Bryoni Natalie Govender, and she’s proud of how far she went in the pageantry. On Sunday Natasha was crowned Miss SA at SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria.
It was her second time participating in the competition. She started the Miss SA journey in 2020, she was a runner-up and she went on to represent the country at Miss Universe in 2021. Taking to Instagram, she penned a note of gratitude to South Africans, promising to do her best daily.
“This moment is and never will be only mine! I share this with each and every one of you who have walked this journey with me since 2020 and even before! My beloved South Africa, I thank you for entrusting me with this incredible responsibility of serving you! I promise to do my very best each and every day but I cannot do it alone. Walk with me as we embark on this journey of a lifetime together,” she wrote.
