Ledile Violet, the wife of the South African Olympics champion Caster Semenya, took to Instagram and penned her darling partner of 14 years a happy wedding anniversary as seen in a post shared on Sunday, 7 January.
Caster Semenya and Ledile Violet are one of the most beloved couples in the country. The lovebirds tied the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony in Limpopo in 2015, Zalebs reported. They followed up the traditional affair with a lavish white wedding ceremony which took place in January 2017.
In a recent post, Violet gushed over Semenya as she named just some of her favourite things about the Olympics champion – this she did while dedicating a sweet message to her and as she announced that she and her partner were celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary.
“We have been together for 14 years [and] married for 7 years. This is the kind of person [she is]: Stubborn, strict, crazy, lovely [as a] partner, caring [most] cheerful friend, and attentive mother to our kids. I love you with all my heart. Happy 7th Anniversary to us,” Violet penned.
Over the years, the duo have become parents to two beautiful children, Oratile (four years old) and Oarabile who turned two on 14 July 2022. Unfortunately, their journey to parenthood was not an easy one. According to Kaya FM, when trying to get pregnant with their first-born, the lovely couple experienced four unsuccessful insemination procedures before they were successful
