Kanye West Addresses Kim Kardashian Hiring Manny For Son In New Verse

Kanye West has addressed his ex-wife Kim Kardashian hiring a “manny” for his son Saint on a Rich the Kid song titled “Gimme a Second 2.” On the track, which arrived on Friday (June 21) and also features West’s Vultures partner Ty Dolla $ign, Yeezy got into his feelings about Kim K bringing a masculine presence into the lives of their children.

“My oldest said, ‘Daddy not going to Heaven’/ Treat me like a deadbeat, said I wasn’t present/ They was tryna treat a king like a peasant/ They bought my son a new dad like it’s no headache/ Don’t give a fuck about shit, I’m irreverent” he raps in his verse.

The “manny” was revealed during the current season of The Kardashians, during which Kim said: “I do think that my household, and even in our family, it’s very female-dominated.”

She added: “I recently hired a Manny. I really wanted a male around that was going to be picking them up and taking them to sports. I was scared out of my mind to tell their dad that.”

Despite this new figure, Kanye West was nice to Saint’s new babysitter. “When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself, played two-on-two with Saint and him, has been so nice to him,” she also said.

“Saying, ‘Hey, if you’re going to help raise my son – because he handed him the ball easily – don’t do that, make him go get it himself. These are some of the rules that I would want.’”

In other Ye news, he popped up at Alexander Wang’s Wangmania wrestling event in Tokyo last week, much to the surprise of the attendees.

Both Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign made a surprise appearance at the event to perform a few songs from their Vultures LP, including hits like “Carnival” and “Talking.” Kanye’s presence has also popped up in places even where he wasn’t there in physical form.

At the post-game celebration for the Boston Celtics after winning the NBA Finals earlier this week, five-time All-Star Jayson Tatum alluded to Ye’s acceptance speech for Best Rap Album (The College Dropout) at the 47th Grammy Awards back in 2005.

“I know everybody will wonder what would happen if we didn’t win,” Tatum said while holding the Larry O’Brien Trophy as the crowd cheered him on. “I guess we’ll never know.”
