Joyner Lucas Expands Business Portfolio By Opening New Frozen Yogurt Store

Joyner Lucas has put a notch in his business acumen belt by opening a new frozen Yogurt spot in his hometown of Northborough, Massachusetts. According to The Source, Lucas is now the proprietor of Oh Wow Frozen Yogurt and Smoothies. He’ll celebrate the grand opening of his new establishment by shooting a music video at the shop on Sunday (July 23).

The “I’m Not Racist” rapper’s new spot has a number of tasty sweets and beverages, including Frozen Yogurt, Boba, Smoothies, Crepes, Lemonade, and Milk tea.

Oh Wow, Frozen Yogurt and Smoothies isn’t the only business venture that Joyner Lucas is involved in. In 2015, Lucas, along with his manager and business partner Dhruv Joshi started a music app startup called Tully.

Joyner Lucas spoke to Business Insider in 2022 about the benefits of all independent artists utilizing Tully for their careers.

“All independent artists should have an account on Tully, ’cause I think that it’s very useful,” he said at the time. “I think that it’s something that they’re not gonna know that they need until they have it.

“I think that it goes hand in hand with what I’m trying to do because I already feel like they should get a subscription, period. But this is just more incentive to wanna do that. And I’ma be doing a whole bunch of things on there such as even giving artists opportunity.”

Aside from business ventures, Joyner Lucas, last month received major kudos from one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and fellow Hip Hop head, Will Smith.

The Bad Boys actor took to Facebook where he posted the visual for Lucas’ new single. “Broski,” while singing the artist’s praises. “My Favorite Rapper!,” Smith wrote, alongside the clip.

The video for “Broski,” which stars singer and Power actor Rotimi, is an illustration of how friends change when money and power enter the equation.

Travis Scott has revealed the drop dates for two heavily-anticipated projects — his new album Utopia and an accompanying film called Circus Maximus — which were made at Rolling Loud Miami. The Houston rapper took to the stage at the much-lauded festival on Saturday (July 22). At the end of his nearly-hour-long set, he unleashed the Circus Maximus trailer exclusively for the crowd.

The trailer featured a performance by the Cactus Jack Records founder, alongside imagery like a scene from Pompeii, Italy, and a bush in the shape of a “U,” presumably as a nod to Utopia. Scott also said that the film would be “dropping in theaters.” Learn more
