Gogo Skhotheni says a majority of the celebrities who are Sangomas don’t have a calling. Skhotheni gave an insight into spiritual and traditional healing during a recent sit-down on Mac G’s podcast and Chill.
The star says some celebrities were misdiagnosed to be traditional healers; she said a majority of them mistook depression for a calling. The Sangoma said hearing the ancestors speak to you or communicate with you is different from having a calling.
She said most times, people who are traditional healers have been called right from birth. When Mac G asked about how many celebrities have true callings, she replied by saying 30% of the celebrities in the South African entertainment industry are true sangoma, while the 70% are fake.
Gogo Skhotheni joins Khanyi Mbau on the claim that most celebrities are fake traditional healers.
