DJ Zinhle’s reality show returns for season four

South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane is returning for a fourth season of her reality show titled DJ Zinhle: Bossing Up, here’s what we know.

The fourth season of DJ Zinhle’s reality show, now titled DJ Zinhle: Bossing Up will premiere on Saturday 20 July. DJ Zinhle, her “husband”, Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Murdah Bongz, and her two children are back for season four. The Umlilo hitmaker welcomed her first child, Kairo Forbes with slain rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA. She then welcomed her second child, Asante Mohosana, with Murdah Bongz.

This season celebrates DJ Zinhle’s 20-year journey in the music industry. So, when can you watch season four? DJ Zinhle: Bossing Up season four airs on Saturdays at 19:30 on BET (DStv channel 129), from 20 July.

“DJ Zinhle: Bossing Up” takes viewers on an intimate journey with DJ Zinhle, one of South Africa’s most beloved and influential music icons, as she commemorates two decades of breaking glass ceilings and setting trends in a male-dominated industry. The season is packed with inspiring moments, culminating in a mega event – a musical night to remember. This event is set to be a landmark celebration of her status as a pioneering female DJ and visionary in South Africa,” according to the press release.

So, what can viewers expect from this season? DJ Zinhle revealed that fans can expect to see the highs and lows of her journey and her 20-year journey in the music industry.

“Family has always been my rock and my greatest support system. Without their unwavering love and encouragement, I wouldn’t be the Zinhle you see today. This season, fans will not only witness the highs and lows of my journey but will also experience a special spectacle that encapsulates my 20-year journey as a music icon. I promise, you will not want to miss a single episode of this season – it’s going to be the best one yet,” she said.

“DJ Zinhle has shattered the ceiling of what success can look like for a female artist in South Africa. In an industry that was predominantly male-dominated, she has not only flourished but has also paved the way for countless women to follow in her footsteps.
