Beloved Soshanguve-born Amapianio disc jockey DJ Maphorisa – real name Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe took to Instagram and announced that he had eight bookings lined up on Saturday, 16 December. Here is a look at how much DJ Maphorisa bagged on Saturday.

There is no denying that DJ Maphorisa is one of the top Amapiano DJs. He has smash hits like Banyana, Izolo, Abalele, and more. Taking to his feed, the Amapiano disc jockey recently revealed that he had secured eight booking on Saturday.

“8 gigs Tonight 🙏🏿 Blessings #workmode,” he captioned.According to Briefly, DJ Maphorisa allegedly charges R200k for indoor events and R300k for outdoor events. Assuming that he was paid R200K for each of his eight gigs, that would mean he bagged R1.6 million. However, assuming that all his gigs were under the R300k package, that would mean that he made up to R2.4 million on Saturday.

DJ Maphorisa was booked at The Bears Palace – Carolina, Dickenson Park – Veereenigeng, Nostra – Bryanston, Elkah Stadium (Makubenjalo) – Soweto, Metsing Tshisa Nyana – Orange Farm, Trimpark – Potchfstroom, Wedela Sports Ground – Carletonvelle, and at Zone 6 venue – Soweto. Netizens have since praised him for working hard, however some were concerned about his health and urged him to slow down.
