Big Zulu’s performance with Pearl Thusi at Cotton Fest Durban was presumed to be a response to Emtee. The two rappers started beefing after the 150 Bars diss song was released by the iNkabi record label boss. Recently, Emtee whose real name is Ndevu Mthembeni trolled the iMali Eningi hitmaker by calling him a wack rapper.

Pearl Thusi

“Feature Big Zulu? I am not going to feature a wack rapper on a song of mine. I won’t even beat about the bush about this sh*t. That n*gga is wack … I’ve never seen a wack a** n*gga like that. Flow? Wack. Wordplay? Wack,” he said.

Big Zulu whose real name is Siyabonga Johannes Nene didn’t reply, however, during the festival he serenaded Pearl Thusi who is Emtee’s crush.

Social media users who saw the video clip claimed Siyabonga taunted Ndevu with the performance.
