Basetsana Kumalo has taken to her social media to share throwback photo of herself when she was crowned Miss South Africa in 1994.
The star said she was the first runner up for Miss World in 1994 which was 28 years ago.
Basetsana said for the past 28 years, she has continued to live up to her Moto “To whom much is given, much is expected.”
She wrote: “Happy Throwback Thursday Darlings ✨ Miss World 1994 – 28 years Ago 👑 In 1994 Basetsana Kumalo was crowned Miss South Africa and 1st runner up at @missworld. For the past 28 years she has continued to live up to her Moto “To whom much is given, much is expected.” Basetsana is a beautiful example of empowerment for South African women, young and old.
