Club hostess and Instagram influencer Inno Morolong just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. According to ZiMoja, the controversial content creator has been dragged to court by socialite and TV personality, Babalwa Mneno. The publication reports that Mneno claims that Morolong made several defamatory statements about her on her social media accounts, which have caused her a great deal of distress and harm to her reputation. As a result, the former Big Brother Africa contestant is demanding an apology. In Morolong’s statements, she accused Mneno of drug use and promiscuity, which the socialite denies.
“It is important for everyone to be mindful of the impact of their words and actions, particularly on social media where statements can quickly spread and cause harm. My lawyers will deal with her. She has been bullying me for so long and I have been losing jobs. She is the one that has been bullying me and I have everything on record,” she said. This comes a few weeks after Sunday World reported that the Diamonds and Dolls reality TV star was arrested for violating a restraining order that her former friend Tebogo Thobejane issued against her. Last year, Thobejane opened a case of defamation at the Douglasdale police station and filed a protection order at the Johannesburg High Court.
The former besties’ feud dates back to 2021. Last year, however, things escalated when Morolong took to Instagram to accuse Thobejane of “sleeping with the president”. The Diamonds and Dolls reality TV star also claimed that the actress is a bad mother.In January last year, the hostess took to social media to post naked pictures of Thobejane. Morolong also shared the former Diep City actress’ phone number and her son’s residential address.
As a result of this, Thobejane said she had to take her son out of his school to ensure his safety. She also left the country as she said she was receiving death threats. The Muvhango actress currently lives in Dubai. According to Thobejane, while they were in court last year, Morolong taunted and intimidated her. She is not remorseful at all and she continues to bully me. [Morolong] is relentless in her bullying antics. I am so tired of Inno; honestly, she is a horror movie,” said Thobejane.
