The family of Kiernan Jared Forbes “AKA” has released details of the funeral and memorial of the late rapper. AKA’s family appreciates the love showered on them for the past few days.
“We as the Forbes family would like to acknowledge the outpouring of love we have received over the past few days. Kiernan wasn’t just loved by us as a family, but by the nation. As we have seen from loved ones, friends, industry colleagues, media tributes, and the Megacy,” reads the statements.
The rapper will be buried in a private provincial funeral on Saturday, 18 February 2023, while the memorial service is open to the public and it will take place this Friday, 17th of February at Sandton Convention Center.
The two services will be Live streamed on the official YouTube account of the rapper.
The family also acknowledged their extended family, the Mohosanas for their support, but revealed that Bongani Mahosana will not be coming for the funeral and memorial services due to observing cultural protocol.
