Zolisa Xolisa is said to be back on Smokes & Mirror

Zolisa Xaluva is set to make a return to the popular e.tv drama series Smoke & Mirrors. Xaluva, who originally played the character Caesar Ngonyama, had exited the show to focus on other professional commitments, including his role in another series, Code 13. During his absence, Hlomla Dandala temporarily took over the role, but fans expressed a strong preference for Xaluva’s portrayal​.

Before he left the show late last year, Xaluva played the lead role of ruthless boss, Caesar. After season one, the award-winning actor was reportedly dismissed by the production company following a “money-related dispute” with the production, claims he dismissed. The actor was later replaced by Homla Dandala. However, sources close to the situation alleged that Dandala was not doing justice to the role and viewers were not happy with his performance.
