Actor Nhlanhla Kunene Reveals That He Is Celibate And Doesn’t Drink Alcohol

Nhlanhla Kunene, an actor who plays Eric in Showmax’s Adulting, has revealed that he abstains from drinking alcohol and having sex.

The actor opened up to Mac G and Sol Phenduka in an interview on Podcast and Chill with MacG alongside his Adulting co-star Luthando “BU” Mthembu.

The star said the side effects of drinking make him dislike it. “Having a headache and bad breath in the morning.” The actor has also made it clear that he is not pursuing ladies and riding the fame wave.

“Sex is spiritual kakhulu (a lot). When your body meets a woman’s body when you are naked, there’s so much going on in that moment.”

“There are men that are not working at the moment in the township because they had sex with the wrong people.”

“There are so many things happening at that moment, like energy transfers. Some women have abortions, some miscarry without knowing.”

“So, if you have a spiritual eye, you understand spirituality and energy more than anything, you’ll understand what I am trying to say.”

Adulting Actress Londeka Sishi has opened up about her struggle with depression and an attempt to take her own life because she felt unworthy.

The Adulting actress recently sat down with Lungelo KM on his YouTube podcast Engineer Your Life with Lungelo KM and revealed that she wanted to kill herself because she felt unworthy and pointless.

The 26-year-old who plays Nkanyezi on Showmax’s hit drama series, Adulting, said falling pregnant with her baby, restored her purpose to live life to the fullest.

“I remember that falling pregnant is the only thing that stopped me from killing myself, before my daughter Liyana my life was not worth living,” she told Lungelo KM.

In a recent interview with ZAlebs, Sishi said her baby, Liyana, arrived at a time when she was depressed and feeling meaningless. The actress said she is grateful for her because she has taught her to love and patience. “Liyana is 5 years old. She came at the right time. What many people don’t know is that she came at a time when I was depressed and felt like I lacked purpose,” she told ZAlebs.

“I was also suicidal. I was like I don’t understand why I am here because there is no purpose here. She has taught me so much about love, patience, and kindness. I am a single parent even though her dad is in her life, they got a strong bond but we are no longer together. We are co-parenting.”

The actress also opened up about acting alongside her real-life crush Thembinkosi Mthembu, who plays Bonga, in Adulting. Sishi plays Bonga’s love interest on the show.

She says it was quite a shock to find out she would play his love interest in the drama series. “The crush is gone now, we are all good and well. He has and continues to teach me a lot about the industry.”

When questioned about famous DJs in her DMs, Londeka laughed and hinted that fame has brought attention to her from other male celebrities.
