21 Savage Responds To Soulja Boy After He Attacks Metro Boomin Over Shady Tweet

21 Savage has come to the defense of Metro Boomin after Soulja Boy launched into a tirade against the producer over an old tweet. Back in 2012, Young Metro posted on X (then known as Twitter): “My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down.”

Big Draco caught wind of the over decade-old tweet on Saturday (May 11) and, in a typically profanity-laced Instagram Live, fired back at the Heroes & Villains hitmaker.

“Fuck is you talking about, Metro Groomin?” he said. “You was lit about going to the studio with Jeezy, bitch ass boy? Stop playing with me. I had a number one in 2007 when I was 17, fuck n-gga. You was still in elementary school. You was in middle school, boy.”

Soulja threw more shade at Jeezy by asking Metro: “Fuck is you hype about going to the studio with Jeezy for? Bitch ass n-gga, I was making beats for Gucci! I don’t give a fuck about no Jeezy, n-gga. I was in the studio with Guwop at 18.”

The “Crank That” rapper then gave the producer 24 hours to delete the tweet or, he warned, “I’ma show you how to troll a n-gga.”

……

21 Savage, who has a longstanding relationship with Metro, defended his Savage Mode collaborator by calling Big Draco’s bluff.

“Or what,” he commented on Akademiks‘ Instagram page.

That prompted a similarly fiery response from Soulja Boy, who wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Or I’m slapping the shit out [you] and metro.”

The 33-year-old then taunted Metro over the death of his mother by wishing him a happy Mother’s Day and shared screenshots of old DMs from the producer asking to work together.

Soulja added in a separate post: “I don’t give a fuck!!!! It’s always cool when a n-gga come at me but when I defend myself it’s too much huh?! Fuck that n-gga mama!!!!!!!!!! Don’t speak on my name bitch!”

He also challenged the duo to a boxing match: “I’ll beat the fuck out you @MetroBoomin and @21savage sign the boxing contract since u pussy n-ggaz so tough!!!”

Neither Metro nor 21 have responded as of this writing.

Outside of a brewing beef with Soulja Boy, Metro Boomin has been busy trolling Hip Hop’s public enemy number one, Drake.

Earlier this week, he sweetened his “BBL Drizzy Beat Giveaway” by offering a $10,000 cash prize, as well as a free beat, to the winner.

The multi-platinum producer launched the contest earlier this month by uploading an instrumental on SoundCloud featuring a sped up sample of a woman singing “BBL Drizzy.”

Metro has been at the heart of Drake’s “20 vs. 1” rap beef, with the 6 God telling him to “shut up and make some drums” on his diss song “Push Ups” and accusing him of turning Future against him on “Family Matters.”

Drake has seemingly decided that it’s better to accept defeat when it comes to battling Kendrick Lamar, especially now that there’s been an all-but-unanimous decision that the Compton rapper came out on top.

Taking to his Instagram Stories on Saturday (May 11), Drizzy posted an illustration of a Japanese samurai facing off against a huge cavalry — a nod to the “20 vs. 1” narrative he referenced on his diss song “Push Ups.” Read more
