The rapper is a true testimony of never giving up on your potential and some of the young rappers are inspired by his success story. Speaking during an interview with DJ Sbu on the Hustlers Corner Podcast, Tembisa-born rapper Touchline Truth heaped praises on Big Zulu‘s rap career.

The Actions Over Caption chanter claimed that there is no big SA hip-hop act that is doing big numbers like Big Zulu. “I do believe he’s the biggest Hip-hop act in the country right now,” Touchline said. “I think to do Big Zulu’s numbers, you must make a plan, because Big Zulu is beyond Hip-hop.”

Touchline also said that the Inkabi Records’ boss has one of the biggest following considering his Maskhandi and hip-hop fanbase.

“Big Zulu has probably the biggest cult following because he’s got the Maskhandi people and the Inkabi Nation. Inkabi Nation is huge, it’s just that it’s not there in the conversations on Twitter, but when he drops the numbers speak for themselves.” He said.

“Shoutout to Big Zulu, what he came and did in the game is also pretty amazing and being so ethnic. To just say so true to himself, it’s inspirational,” Touchline said. “He’s never changed a single thing. He became Big Zulu from the Big Zulu he used to be, he just sharpened a few things, maybe in terms of the kind of music.”

Touchline also touched on Big Zulu and Sjava collaboration stating that it’s unfair to other rappers in the game because no one is going to surpass that. “That Sjava collaboration is unfair, who’s gonna compete with that?” He added.
