Zakes Bantwini, Nomcebo and Wouter win at the 65th Grammy

Zakes Bantwini, Nomcebo Zikode and Wouter Kellerman win Grammy Award For Best Global Music Performance. The South African artists won for their song Bayethe at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony.

They won over Nigeria’s Burna Boy, Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo, USA’s Matt B, Ghana’s Rocky Dawuni, and Pakistan’s Arooj Aftab. Zakes dedicates the award to his late father and late mother.

“Took me 17 years to find my path, I have no words to express the emotions and grace that have come over me. This moment is owed to my late Mother & Father. I’m grateful,” he wrote. They won over Nigeria’s Burna Boy, Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo, USA’s Matt B, Ghana’s Rocky Dawuni, and Pakistan’s Arooj Aftab.
