Murdah Bongz returns equipment allegedly stolen by him

Murdah Bongz has reportedly returned the equipment he stole from Black Motion’s centurion house. The DJ who has now left the musical group was dragged to court by his former boss who runs Spirt Motion.
He was accused of housebreaking and theft.

A source alleged to the publication that Morda stole studio monitors, a television set, computer hard drives and mixing desk from the house which the Black Motion use as an office and studio. The recording studio equipment is estimated at a value of R243 312,30.

Speaking to Drum, a source claimed DJ Zinhle’s husband returned the equipment after Spirit Motion won the cast at Gauteng High Court early this month.

“He was supposed to return it, so it was bound to return. It is not like they are excited or over the moon, it didn’t belong to him in the first place. He didn’t bring the equipment himself, he sent someone to return it, but he kept the keyboard which they will demand to be returned as well.”

“All they want is for him to apologise, there is no animosity whatsoever, they want to know what the reason behind all of this was,” said the insider.

Meanwhile, Neo Mashele who is known to be Morda’s legal representative slammed the claim that the singer stole the equipment.

“Bongani went to the property, took the property [equipment], went, and used it, and they, for a reason unknown to us, went to court and made it seem as though our client stole the property.”

“Our client didn’t steal the property and that is why the case is deregistered, it never came to fruition because there was no base for a criminal charge of the property. He used it and returned it. Remember, he is a part owner of the property.
