Tyla becomes the most streamed African artist on Spotify
Tyla dethrones the likes of Burna Boy and Rema as she is now the most streamed artist on Spotify. The South African singer has become the most popular African artist with over 30 million monthly Spotify listeners. The hit song Water which made her a Grammy-award winner, gained over 499 million streams.
Additionally, her debut album which is named after her is charting in 140 countries on Apple Music.
Currently, it has peaked at number 4 in the UK and no. 6 in the USA, with the potential to go even higher, and has reached the Top 10 in over 70 countries on Apple Music.
