George Clooney is celebrating his new film Wolfs and costar-longtime pal Brad Pitt. Clooney, 63, was asked to reflect on his many experiences working with Pitt, 60, during the premiere of Wolfs at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday. There’s nothing good about it,” he teased People with a shake of his head. “It’s all a disaster,” he jokingly added before getting to the real part.

“It’s fun to work with people you know really well,” he finally added.

Both were accompanied by their significant others, Amal Clooney and Pitt’s girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, on Sunday night. The duo have starred together in several other films over the years, including the Ocean’s trilogy, Burn After Reading, and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.

Clooney has reflected on his experience working with Pitt earlier as well. We’ve been friends for a long time,” George told CQ in a recent issue. “And it’s fun because we also check in on each other every once in a while, which is an important part of this. Things get complicated in life and you always have to make sure everybody’s okay.”

Meanwhile, Pitt added that his costar is “probably the best at understanding, seeing the chessboard and the potential moves. I’ll call George on numerous occasions when things get bumpy,” he said

The game showcased Liverpool’s superiority, prompting renewed scrutiny on Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, who was granted a new contract after last season’s FA Cup triumph despite an underwhelming start this campaign.

Since Slot replaced Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool have maintained an unbeaten record with three straight Premier League wins, all without conceding a goal. This performance was their most commanding yet.

Liverpool took control with two quick goals just before halftime. Trent Alexander-Arnold had an early goal disallowed for offside before Luis Diaz capitalized on Casemiro’s mistakes. Tottenham equalized in the 56th minute. After Pedro Porro’s effort was deflected onto the crossbar, Brennan Johnson, making his debut after the break, saw his shot deflected into the net by Newcastle defender Dan Burn.

Spurs intensified their attack, with Nick Pope making a crucial save to deny James Maddison’s curled attempt and Johnson firing over the bar as they pressed for a second goal.

Jadon Sancho, Chelsea’s final summer signing, was introduced to fans before the game, though only one of the new arrivals, Pedro Neto, started against Palace. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie narrowly avoided running into each other at the Venice Film Festival this week. Pitt arrived at the festival on Saturday with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon for the premiere of his new action film Wolfs. The actor stars alongside his longtime pal George Clooney in the film, who also made appearance at the festival along with his wife Amal.

Meanwhile, Jolie had attended the festival a few days earlier on Thursday, for the premiere of her biopic Maria. The actress received an eight minute standing ovation at the premiere with brought tears into her eyes. However, Jolie left the festival immediately afterward to head to the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado.

According to Page Six, the festival’s artistic director, Alberto Barbera, had carefully planned the schedules to ensure that the ex couple who are in the middle of legal battle, would not cross paths.

He told the outlet, “Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday (29 August) and she will leave right after to go to Telluride Film Festival in Colorado,” adding, “so Brad will arrive only on Saturday. There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido.”

It is worth noting that neither Jolie or Pitt, who separated in 2016, made any request about the scheduling.

As the 49-year-old actress made headlines after returning to the screens by starring in the biopic, Maria, based on the life of the legendary opera star, Maria Callas, the role earned her a 8-minute-long standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival.

In an exclusive conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, she explained how while her children worked with her on the set of Maria, they were exposed to emotions that the Maleficent star would keep private as a parent.

“The most beautiful thing about being a parent is that you are not the center of your life. So, you are leaving set, focused on something for someone. That’s your real life. Your real world. And that always is the majority of who you are,” she told the outlet.

“It really meant a lot that my boys were with me on Maria,” the Lara Croft actress added, referring to sons Maddox and Pax assisting on the film.
