Racheal Kolisi asks followers to pray for her husband, Siya Kolisi. It was reported that the Springbok captain suffered an apparent partial tear to his anterior cruciate ligaments (ACL) as well as injuring his meniscus on both sides of the injured knee in a match against Munster last weekend.

“Should surgery be recommended and Siya agrees, he will almost certainly not be able to play again this year,” the source said.

“The alternate is to let the injury heal and that could take about four months – meaning he would be out of action until September.”

According to Zimoja, South African model, actress, and businesswoman Tebogo Thobejane has relocated from South Africa as she has been feeling unsafe in the country.

Generations: The Legacy’s Mazwi Moroka played by Musa Ngema has finally been laid to rest. Ngema’s character was recently written off from the show. He met his end in the world of the story as he was killed when he saved his cousin Paul from his kidnapping.

During the funeral arrangements, the cast of the show saw the return of one of the soapie’s most beloved couple, Karabo and Tau, played by Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo.

Ngema was reportedly fired from the show after becoming ‘difficult.’

A source told Zimoja, “Troubles started when he was told to work on his pronunciation and stop stuttering when talking. He was offended and allegedly started having a bad attitude. ”

The sources added that “When they tried showing him his weaknesses, he would be angry, “said the mole. ZiMoja has learnt that his character will be killed.”

Ngema did not offer a comment on these starling allegations, however, he bid viewers of the show farewell.

“The end of an era. It’s been an incredible run playing #Mazwi on #generationsthelegacy. Thank you to the cast, crew, and the viewers for making it all worth it,” he posted.

Rapulana Seiphemo on 959 Breakfast

After the announcement that he would be returning to Generations with Connie Ferguson, Rapulana Seiphemo told Kaya 959’s Breakfast Show with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phendula that he has a good working relationship with Connie Ferguson.

“There is something about the connection that Rapulana Seiphemo and Connie Ferguson have that is quite special and it was built over the years when we were working on Generations. The chemistry is now automatic because we know and respect each other.”

And is bestowed by the President of the country to individuals who have had immense and recognizable contributions to the spheres of arts, culture, literature, music, journalism, and sports.

This great national honour for Mfundi Vundla comes at a time when the television veteran recently shared his journey to death and back. The 76-year-old was caught between a hard place and a rock after experiencing a series of excruciating chest pains a while back. Upon visiting his doctor, he was told there was nothing to worry about. However, last year February he was then diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus.

Last week, Port Shepstone Police issued a statement pleading with the public for assistance in capturing Njilo Nzuzo and Kwanda Ntshangase. Both Njilo and Ntshangase were wanted for defrauding an unsuspecting buyer, following a sale of a truck that turned out to be bogus.

It is reported that both Njilo and Ntshangase disguised as salesmen of a truck to an unsuspecting buyer. After the buyer paid a substantial amount of money, the truck was never delivered and since then Njilo and Ntshangase have disappeared into thin air.

“Nzuzo Nkuthalo Njilo and Kwanda Ntshangase are on the police’s wanted list in connection with a case of fraud. The two are alleged to have masqueraded as salesmen who pretended to be selling a truck in May 2021. The unsuspecting buyer went and physically viewed the truck at a dealership in Boksburg and later paid the two a substantial amount of money. The truck was never delivered and since then the duo could not be contacted and their whereabouts remain unknown.” read the police statement.

Latest reports suggest that Nzuzo-Njilo has turned himself into police custody. Amid media reports Faith continues to stand by her hubby. A couple of days ago she celebrated a year of being a Makoti.

“She moved out about three weeks ago. She left Njilo and has gone back to hosting clubs again with her friend Kim Kholiwe and making money. Just a few days ago, she was hosting at Booth Night Club, and she has put herself out there once again for the work that she used to do before she got married.

“Faith has lost a lot since she married Njilo. She, like all of us, was under the impression that Njilo was monied, but he is not. She lost her Jeep, which they had to sell after sorting out another debt, and then her furniture was taken by the court last year to pay the debt involving those other two guys. It is a lot in a very short space of time. Faith loves the soft life, so she went back to doing what she loves the most, which is club hosting.”

Tottenham Hotspur 2 – 2 Manchester United. Son Heung-min scored a 79th-minute equaliser to complete a fine Tottenham comeback against Manchester United in Ryan Mason’s first game back as interim boss.

United looked to be coasting to a fourth straight Premier League win after goals by Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford put them in a commanding position at half-time.

Pedro Porro launched the fightback before Bruno Fernandes hit the bar for United when he should have scored.

Son equalised from close range after good work by Harry Kane to leave home fans, who had earlier called for chairman Daniel Levy to go, celebrating.

Mason was back in charge two years after his first spell as interim head coach and four days after the horrific 6-1 thrashing by Newcastle that brought Cristian Stellini’s own stint as interim boss to an abrupt end.

Spurs were supposedly low on confidence but their spirited second-half response will give Mason and his players confidence they can yet finish the season on a positive note before the next permanent manager is appointed.

United took control after Sancho fired them into a seventh-minute lead before Porro was denied an equaliser when Luke Shaw intercepted Richarlison’s pass.

When Spurs did get a clear sight of goal they found David de Gea in fine form as the United goalkeeper produced two excellent saves to keep out Ivan Perisic.

Levy looked on stern faced from the directors’ box after Rashford’s goal but Porro’s finish with the outside of his right foot – after Kane had a shot blocked – gave home fans hope.

The hosts threatened an equaliser and came close when Eric Dier headed a golden chance wide, but they were not to be denied and Son’s equaliser was no more than they deserved for a much-improved performance in the second period.

Southampton 0 – 1 Bournemouth. Bournemouth moved closer to Premier League survival and pushed Southampton towards relegation with an impressive victory at St Mary’s.

Marcus Tavernier’s deflected strike five minutes after the break enabled the Cherries to recover from the 4-0 home defeat to West Ham and open up a seven-point cushion to the relegation places.

Southampton’s peril at the bottom deepens as they lie six points from safety, short on ideas and feeling the frustration of the home fans despite a bright start that saw Theo Walcott’s deflected header bounce off the woodwork.

Bournemouth was rewarded for playing the more composed and ordered football, bringing them a third win in four league games as they edge towards safety on 36 points.

Substitute Che Adams thought he had snatched a point with a late strike but it was ruled out for offside after a VAR check, compounding Saints’ misery.

Bournemouth’s latest win only adds to the fine body of work put together by manager Gary O’Neil since he succeeded sacked Scott Parker on a permanent basis.

From looking likely relegation candidates, O’Neil’s calm and composed manner has been reflected in the style with which Bournemouth closed out a deserved triumph at St Mary’s.

The Cherries always looked in control after an early Southampton push, that late strike from substitute Adams providing their only moment of alarm until VAR’s intervention ruled it out for offside.

Bournemouth, 14th in the table, now look firmly locked on course to stay up, a fact reflected by the joyous reaction of the travelling fans at the final whistle as the stadium resounded to chants of “We are staying up”.

And on this evidence they fully deserve to maintain their Premier League status, their measured passing style showing no signs of any relegation nerves.

Everton 1 – 4 Newcastle United. Newcastle took a huge stride towards Champions League football next season by inflicting a demoralising defeat on struggling Everton, who remain rooted in the Premier League’s relegation zone.

A comfortable win at Goodison Park keeps Eddie Howe’s men in third place, eight points clear of Aston Villa in fifth and with a game in hand, in the battle to play in Europe’s elite club competition.

Callum Wilson scored twice for the visitors in each half, reacting quickest to poke home the opener before curling a magnificent 25-yard effort into the top corner.

Brazilian Joelinton netted in between, heading in from close range following excellent play by Joe Willock to set up the goal.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin thought he had made it 1-1 for Everton on the stroke of half-time, but a delightful dinked finish was ruled out for offside.

Dwight McNeil did make it 3-1 with a header for the hosts, but substitute Jacob Murphy added a Newcastle fourth just a minute later to consign Everton to a 17th loss of the campaign, which leaves them in 19th place and two points from safety.

Barring a colossal late-season collapse, Newcastle will return to the Champions League next season for the first time in 20 years.

The Magpies are an organised and well-drilled outfit under Howe and backed up their 6-1 dismantling of Tottenham last Sunday with another thumping result.

Once they saw off Everton’s early bluster, there was only going to be one winner in this contest and it was old nemesis Wilson who proved the scourge of Sean Dyche’s side again.

The forward’s double took his tally to eight goals in the last six games against the Blues.

The first in the 28th minute was an instinctive finish as he popped the ball into the net following Jordan Pickford’s parry on Joelinton’s shot, but the 75th-minute second was a tremendous strike, curling a finish past the reach of the England goalkeeper.

The in-form Joelinton added to the tally and Newcastle showed their strength in depth as Alexander Isak eluded a number of challenges to set up an easy finish for fellow substitute Murphy at the far post.

It could have been worse for Everton but Pickford brilliantly tipped Willock’s spectacular volley wide and defender Fabian Schar’s stunning late strike was ruled out for offside.

But, after a dip in February and March, Newcastle maintained their superb recent run of results, collecting a seventh victory in eight games to control their hopes of a top-four finish.
