Bragga is obviously a lover girl and she gave her heart out to the relationship with the late rapper, but he got brutally killed in Durban on the 10th of February 2023.

The couple have the public a glimpse into their love life and the parents of the late star attested to the beautiful love they shared.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, Nadia tweeted that she’s been unlucky with love, hence she’s given up.

In a short period, the tweet got bombarded with engagements with people urging her to still give love a chance.

Andile Mpisane And Sithelo Shozi Continue Fight For “Baby Flo” in Durban Court.

According to TimesLive, the socialite appeared before Point Family Court on Monday, in Durban, with her baby daddy Andile, over a custody dispute over their child Flo.

Earlier this year Sithelo accused the Royal AM Chairman and his mother Shawn Mkhize, of colliding in abducting her daughter, Florence. According to TimesLive, Minister of Police Bheki Cele was also allegedly involved in the saga.

According to TimesLIVE, while hearing the case, Sithelo was sobbing and Andile was unconcerned. A source said: “Andile appears unbothered and bored. The matter includes discussions around the children and the Mpisanes ‘keeping them illegally’ and not returning them to her.”

The unnamed source added that Sithelo and Andile had a brief conversation during the break under the supervision of their attorneys.

“One of the lawyers said, ‘all my client wants is the child”, the source said. During a January court session, Mpisane’s lawyers led by Ntsako Godi denied accusations of child abduction and said they would oppose Shozi’s application.

There is no doubt that it is not the first time that the two have hogged headlines for the wrong reasons. In court papers, Sithelo reportedly claimed that Andile and his mother took Flo last year and transferred her to Johannesburg without her consent.

“For over ten months now, there has been no further communication [on her illness] … It’s clear that [Mpisane and Mkhize] had ulterior motives — which is to abduct [her]” Sithelo stated in her 24-page affidavit.

“I would often have a WhatsApp video call, but I have since been blocked by the helper and have no access to the child at all,” the DJ revealed.

“I cannot bring myself to negotiate a settlement concerning my child and her abductors.

“I would have been amenable to entertain any settlement negotiations with [Mpisane] if the child is returned home where she should be”.

Sithelo alleges she was physically abused in their 2-year relationship, “While in the relationship I was beaten mercilessly and consistently. I did the best I could and stayed silent, but now I feel that I have been through enough. I feel that I have been abused and pushed far enough by the father of my children.

Sithelo also alleged that she was abused by Andie, when she was pregnant with Coco, “The father of my children beat me to a pulp while I was pregnant with our last child, and I had to wait 3 days to find out if my baby would survive. The last draw was when the father of the children started questioning the paternity of our last child – after everything that I silently withstood.

“My children are far too young to live with a mother who is being bullied, intimidated and still facing abuse. I am a human being too and this kind of abuse has gone on for too long. I want freedom and justice.”

The past Sunday (07 April 2023) saw scores of viewers and tweeps at significant raising concerns over Moshe Ndiki’s presenting skills. During a heated moment that erupted between Ndiki and one of his guests on You Promised To Marry Me. Ndiki was caught in an argument that saw him flying his hands onto a guest’s face.

In the past Moja LOVE has been called out for continuously promoting and perpetuating violence and Gender Based Violence on their programming. It started with one of their controversial show, Isencane Lengane, where Thando Msomi experienced abuse at the hands of her husband Siyacela Dlamuka on national television.

It appears history may be repeating itself after the latest episode of You Promised To Marry Me, where presenter Ndiki displayed aggressiveness and almost got into a fight with a guest. Security on stand-by had to immediately intervene in an attempt to diffuse the intense exchange, which almost resulted in a physical fight.

Subsequently, Baloyi has turned DJ Maphorisa’s arrest into a colorism stance as he believes that dark-skinned men are under attack. Even though gender-Based Violence in this country is at an all-time high.

“I’m far from Sandton & I knew from the very first post that my friend who has my unconditional loyalty, was set up… We hold space for our brothers in this World that sees innocent dark-skinned men as criminals & savages. I know DJ Maphorisa too well to believe lies about him!” added Nota Baloyi

Although the assault charges have since been dropped following Phongolo making a formal withdrawal statement before the Randburg Magistrates Court yesterday. Evidently, Baloyi is still not convinced that she was assaulted to even begin with.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) have confirmed Phongolo’s official withdrawal statement. However, the case has been remanded for the 14 of June, 2023, where DJ Maphorisa will be allowed to lodge representations, in light of the withdrawal statement.

K.O Says That “Awards or not, He Is Already A Made Man”

Ntokozo Mdluli popularly known as K.O. reacts to not winning any award at the Metro FM Music Awards which took place last Saturday.

The rapper bagged the most nomination from 7 categories but won zero awards which left many curious, especially with his hit song, Sete.

Speaking to ZiMoja, Ntokozo says he’s trying to push his career at the international level without being worried about the awards.

“I have been fortunate enough to see so much success at home in South Africa as part of a group and as a solo artist. There is only so much one can do. Not that I take the nominations and awards lightly but I have never been invested like that,” he tells ZiMoja.

“There are so many cases where you anticipate a win and it doesn’t come or when you don’t and you get it. So, awards are really a seesaw for any artist. It’s up to you to maintain a level of sanity, you just need to focus on the things that matter. The fact that I was nominated seven times is already a blessing on its own,” he says.

“This is a livelihood. I am living comfortably. I am blessed and able to feed my family through music, that’s a big win for me, more than any trophy. I am happy for everyone that won that night,” he adds.

“When you’re a new artist coming, you expect the world to roll the red carpet for you, give you praises and you think trophies are your flowers and medals of honor. But with more years and maturity in the industry, you realize awards are not the end of it all.”

Speaking about why his hit song, Sete didn’t win any awards, he said:

“Yes, there’s a voting aspect, but it’s cool. If it’s based on that. Clearly, there was a lot more effort that was put out by the winners and fans to make sure they win. Once that is a deciding factor, then it becomes tricky how everything plays out. So, I don’t really invest too much in trying to get into campaigning. I make the music and If people love it, they love it, if they don’t, then they don’t.”

“Awards are not the end goal for me. I am able to go out, do shows, and do big numbers- those are the efforts that bring great returns. When it’s all said and done, it is just PR. I am still happy even If I don’t get any.”

“I don’t know how it works. If people voted more for others than us, then that’s final. There’s nothing we can do about that. Awards or not. I am already a made man, legendary and I am going to continue performing my purpose with or without the trophies.”

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has confirmed Thuli Phongolo‘s assault charge against her boyfriend DJ Maphorisa being withdrawn. Yesterday, the Randburg Magistrates Court heard Phongolo’s withdrawal statement and subsequently released the accused, DJ Maphorisa on an amount of R4000.00 bail.

Following the social media outrage once the news was made public that DJ Maphorisa abused and assaulted his girlfriend, Thuli Phongolo. Scores of social media users were up in arms as they rallied behind Phongolo to pledge support and allegiance.

However, after DJ Maphorisa’s short appearance before the Randburg Magistrates Court yesterday for a bail hearing. Things took an unexpected turn and left a handful of people rather disappointed at Phongolo’s decision to withdraw.

In a statement, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has confirmed in writing that the assault charges have been withdrawn. Even though the court informed the accused (DJ Maphorisa) that the charges will be officially withdrawn once a formal statement by the compliant (Thuli Phongolo) is made available to the court.

“The NPA’s press statement on the DJ Maphorisa matter. Thuli Phongolo filed a withdrawal statement, says the NPA.” wrote Andi Makinana

According to the NPA, Phongolo was before the court yesterday during DJ Maphorisa’s appearance. The Randburg Magistrates Court received Phongolo’s formal withdrawal statement and she agreed for the accused (DJ Maphorisa) to be released on bail.

“It is alleged that on Sunday, 07 May 2023, the accused assaulted his girlfriend, Thulisie Phongolo by hitting her open hands and strangling her after she confronted him about an incident that happened the previous night where he was booked to perform. The complaint laid a charge with Sandton South African Police Service (SAPS) which acted promptly and arrested the accused. Phongolo filed a withdrawal statement and was before the court to which she agreed for the accused to be released on bail. The court set bail at an amount of R4000” wrote Phindi Mjondwane, NPA Spokesperson, Gauteng Local Division

DJ Maphorisa will again appear before the Randburg Magistrates Court as the case was remanded for the 14 of June 2023. This of course to allow him to lodge representations amidst Thuli Phongolo’s withdrawal statement.
