The former The Queen actress Nomsa Buthelezi-Shezi says being a lesbian in South African is hard. MDN shared a TikTok video of Buthelezi where she reveals how she lost gigs in the entertainment industry.

Lady Zamar will be dropping a new song in the month of love, February. The South African vocalist is gradually gaining some ground after being cancelled for months due to the saga with her ex-boyfriend Sjava.In 2023, she dropped a song titled Castles; it did impressive numbers and was approved by a majority of listeners.

Lose it all: Drip founder Lekau Sehoana on company’s liquidation

According to the publication WideOpen Platform allegedly filed papers in court seeking an order to wind up Drip. WideOpen Platform is said to have accused the Drip company as being insolvent and unable to service its debts.

Lekau Sehoana, the Drip founder has recently broken his silence with his fans on social media. Taking to X (the social media previously known as Twitter), Sehoana assured his fans and social media users that he plans to remain positive and keep his mind “focused” during this time.

Bravo B, real name Lindokhule Nsele has been disqualified from the Big Brother Mzansi season 4 reality show. The organisers of the show released a statement following an investigation carried on the conversation B had with Makhekhe after their Thursday pool party. Taking to social media, the show announced the disqualification of Bravo, while Makhekhe will be reprimanded in the house.

Mabonga is hospitalised and fighting for his life after being shot at Tempo restaurant last weekend. It was reported that he initiated the altercation; the businessman shot his gun after the security refused him entry with a gun. He suffered four gunshot wounds to the hand, abdomen, and ribs.

According to the charge sheet, Mabonga also faces two more cases; a case concerning an incident that happened at Konka, a nightclub in Soweto, was filed at the Kliptown police station, and another case about kidnapping and assault was registered at the Bramley police station.

Longwe Twala, the son of veteran producer and musician Sello “Chicco” Twala, is implicated with Kelly Khumalo in Senzo Meyiwa’s murder – Sunday World reports. Meyiwa, who was shot and killed in 2014, was in a relationship with Kelly at the time. Meanwhile, Longwe was dating Kelly’s sister, Zandile “Zandie” Khumalo.

According to Sunday World, Longwe is implicated with Kelly on charges of common purpose, conspiracy to commit murder and the murder of Meyiwa. This is reportedly linked to an affidavit by one of Meyiwa’s friends, alleging that Meyiwa and Zandie were dating behind Kelly and Longwe’s backs.

The friend revealed that the deceased confessed to sleeping with his girlfriend’s sister. Meyiwa also allegedly revealed that his relationship with Longwe was shaky because he had suspicions of the “affair”.
During the trial-within-a-trial at the North Gauteng High Court on Wednesday, 24 January, it was revealed that Kelly is implicated as the person who allegedly ordered the hit on the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.

Lead investigator Brigadier Bongani Gininda told the court that accused number one and two (Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya and Bongani Ntanzi) implicated Kelly as the mastermind.

“It was further discovered that, through cellphone analysis, her cellphone memory album has the same photo of a see-through bag containing cash notes and in the exact position or location or spot as that of accused number three. Sunday World reports that the same photo was also found in Longwe’s phone.

The publication further reports that, according to police inquiry, Longwe and Kelly made several calls to each other before the incident.
