Wolves 1-3 Crystal Palace

Wolves 1-3 Crystal Palace. Michael Olise scored his 10th Premier League goal of the season as Crystal Palace beat Wolves 3-1 at Molineux.

After scoring twice in the 4-0 win over Manchester United on Monday, Olise opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a beautiful curling effort on the edge of the box.

Oliver Glasner’s side made it 2-0 when Jean-Philippe Mateta scored his 13th league goal of the campaign after tapping in from Nathaniel Clyne’s strike off the post following a cheeky chipped through ball by Olise.

Matheus Cunha responded for Wolves in the 66th minute before Eberechi Eze rounded Dan Bentley to secure the three points.

Defender Matt Doherty headed Wolves’ best chance of the first half against the crossbar as Palace went into the break two goals ahead.

But O’Neil’s side hit back in the 66th minute after Cunha powered home his 12th league goal of the season beyond Dean Henderson.

Minutes later Wolves were almost level, but Clyne’s tremendous last-ditch defending kept his side in the lead.

Palace ended the match with 10 as substitute Naouirou Ahamada was shown a second yellow deep in the second half.

Palace, who have won five of their last six, have now climbed above Wolves and into 12th place in the Premier League.

Having put injury issues suffered earlier in the season behind him, Olise is in brilliant form having scored three times in his last two outings.

The Frenchman’s double against Manchester United on Monday night was lauded and rightfully so, but whether he could carry on his form was questioned. It need not have been.

Olise was gifted with an opportunity to open the scoring early in the first half but he dragged a powerful left-footed hit wide of the far post.

But when presented with his next chance at goal, the 22-year-old made no mistake as he wrapped his foot around the ball to curl a great strike beyond Bentley and into the far corner.

Olise now has 10 goals in 18 league games, with five assists alongside those strikes. A brilliant return for a youngster in a team currently 12th in the league.

The Palace number seven makes it look effortless and is showing signs of developing into a world-class player.

Wolves may be grateful they have just one game left this season, with their poor run of form continuing.

O’Neil’s side have now won once in their last nine league matches and have just one clean sheet to their name in their past 11 games.

With their status in the Premier League secured some time ago and European football out of the equation, Wolves seem to be coasting through to the season’s end.

But the performance of the players in these games could prove pivotal for their future, and O’Neil may well have summer plans cemented by this point and targets identified.

Palace have just leapfrogged Wolves into 12th in the table but on the pitch the sides could not look further apart.

West Ham United 3-1 Luton Town

West Ham United 3-1 Luton Town. Luton are on the brink of relegation from the Premier League after West Ham came from behind to mark David Moyes’ final home game with a win at London Stadium.

Albert Sambi Lokonga’s first-half opener threatened to turn the penultimate game of Moyes’ tenure into a damp squib while breathing new life into the Hatters’ survival fight.

But Moyes rallied his troops at half-time and Luton were unable to repel the hosts after the break.

James Ward-Prowse drove home the 54th-minute equaliser after Thomas Kaminski had turned Jarrod Bowen’s cross-shot into his path.

Tomas Soucek fired the Hammers in front with a brilliant first-time volley from 25 yards when Luton cleared a corner straight to him 11 minutes later.

Mohammed Kudus should have added a third as the hosts dominated the second period, but the midfielder only managed to hit the post from 10 yards out when unmarked.

But that miss did not matter as 19-year-old George Earthy, on as a substitute for his second league appearance, turned in Kudus’ cut-back from close range.

The result leaves Luton three points behind fourth-bottom Nottingham Forest with only one game left to play and a significantly worse goal difference.

The Hatters’ relegation will be confirmed if Forest get a point against Chelsea in Saturday’s late kick-off at the City Ground (17:30 BST).

One of the major criticisms of Moyes from West Ham fans – who have been demanding a change of manager since before he ended their 43-year trophy drought in the Europa Conference League last June – was his seeming refusal to give younger players a chance.

Given that, it is ironic a youth-team product scored the last home goal under the Scot.

Earthy’s first top-flight appearance, at Fulham last month, only lasted seven minutes as he sustained a horrible head injury that required hospital treatment.

Little wonder there was so much joy on the teenager’s face after he darted across the Luton defence to steer Kudus’ pass into the net with his first touch after replacing Michail Antonio.

It was the kind of moment that can make a career and, while Moyes will not be the beneficiary, Earthy looks capable of having a significant impact under Julen Lopetegui – when the former Spain and Real Madrid manager’s appointment is eventually confirmed.

By that point, West Ham had made a clear edge in class tell.

After a disappointing opening, Kudus and Lucas Paqueta’s invention was too much for Luton, who found themselves chasing shadows as the home side exploited growing gaps in the visitors’ midfield.

Bowen had opportunities to get the goal he needs to take the outright lead for most goals in a single Premier League season for West Ham.

He will have another opportunity at Manchester City on the final day but for now he remains level with Paolo di Canio on 16 after Kaminski kept out his best effort with his legs in stoppage time.

With the sun beating down from a perfect blue sky, it was the ideal backdrop for what should have been a fond farewell for Moyes.

However, the brutal reality of top-flight football soon ruined it.

West Ham’s porous defence had conceded 12 goals in the past three league games before this one. In 10 out of the past 14, it had leaked at least two.

Their defensive failings have led to an unwanted Premier League club record for goals conceded (71) – undermining Moyes’ philosophy of building a successful team by being tight at the back.

And when Luton took a sixth-minute lead, their fans would have been dreaming that another top-flight season was possible.

Sadly for the Hatters, another key statistic ahead of the game was that they had both scored and conceded in 29 of their previous 36 league matches this season – a joint competition record. They are now out on their own in that metric.

Rob Edwards’ side bravely scrambled to defend their advantage until half-time, but there was an air of inevitability about what was likely to come after the break.

Moyes spoke to Edwards at the final whistle, doubtlessly trying to raise his spirits.

However, the applause from Luton fans to their players at the final whistle was done with the knowledge their defiant contribution to this Premier League season is almost at an end.

Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Burnley. Burnley have been relegated from the Premier League after they could not secure a win at Tottenham which would have kept their hopes alive.

The Clarets, who knew a draw or defeat meant they would no longer be able to catch fourth-bottom Nottingham Forest, took the lead when Jacob Bruun Larsen slid in a 25th-minute opener.

The joy among the travelling fans was tempered seven minutes later when Pedro Porro hammered in an equaliser.

After dominating the second half without finding a way through, Spurs were finally rewarded when defender Micky van de Ven burst forward and expertly slotted the winner into the bottom corner.

The draw would have done few favours for fifth-placed Tottenham, who needed a win to keep the pressure on Aston Villa in the race for the Champions League.

Burnley are five points behind Forest with one game remaining, meaning they join Sheffield United in making an instant return to the Championship.

For all the positives under Ange Postecoglou this season, a miserable run over the past month led to concern for Tottenham supporters.

Four straight defeats severely damaged their team’s hopes of finishing above Villa and Postecoglou was hoping to avoid the ignominy of becoming the first Spurs boss to lose five on the bounce since Ossie Ardiles in 1994.

The ease with which their team have leaked goals – conceding 13 times in the defeats by Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool – has been particularly alarming.

Burnley, who arrived as the third lowest scorers in the league, were also able to find space in attacking areas and punished Spurs through Bruun Larsen’s opener.

But Tottenham eventually had enough quality to come through a stern test – even though they needed two defenders to provide the attacking spark.

The fightback maintained Spurs’ slim hopes of overhauling Villa.

Tottenham know they must beat Manchester City and Sheffield United in their final two games, while hoping Unai Emery’s side drop points against Liverpool and Crystal Palace.

“We were dominant enough, their keeper was outstanding today and we had enough chances,” said Postecoglou.

“It’s always difficult when you lose four matches in a row and it is only natural there will be a bit of anxiety and a bit of stress.

“It should have been a more comfortable victory but the most important thing is we won the game.”

Having won the Championship title at a canter last season, Burnley were hoping the dynamic and attacking style developed under Vincent Kompany would translate into success in the Premier League.

The top flight is a different beast, however, and the gulf has proved too big for the Clarets.

A young and inexperienced side has been punished by defensive mistakes and a failure to take the chances which they created.

Burnley have particularly struggled against the leading sides, losing all 12 games against the current top six after defeat at Tottenham.

Like the draws they claimed at Chelsea and Manchester United, Kompany’s side were competitive against Spurs but did not have enough quality at either end to earn the win which they needed.

Sloppy possession at the back invited on pressure, while rare chances for Wilson Odobert and Maxime Esteve when it was still 1-1 were not taken.

After relegation was confirmed, Burnley’s dejected players applauded their travelling supporters who will be hoping their team can return at the first time of asking next season.

Newcastle United 1-1 Brighton

Newcastle United 1-1 Brighton. Newcastle dropped points in their pursuit of European football as Brighton spoiled their final home match of the Premier League season by earning a draw at St James’ Park.

Sean Longstaff cancelled out Joel Veltman’s opener on the stroke of half-time to ensure Newcastle scored in every one of their home league fixtures in a top-flight season for the first time since 1958-59.

Welcomed to the pitch by an impressive pre-match flag display from the home support, Newcastle dominated the early stages – and much of the game from there.

But it was the visitors, offering a threat on the counter, who took an 18th-minute lead when Veltman struck at close range after Newcastle failed to clear a corner.

Newcastle were rewarded for their persistence when Longstaff steered in from Elliot Anderson’s cut-back, following great work by the always-lively Anthony Gordon.

However, with Gordon’s late finish ruled out for offside, Eddie Howe’s side failed to find a winner in the second half to leave their hopes of qualifying for some form of European football in the balance.

After fifth-placed Tottenham moved six points clear with victory over Burnley, Newcastle must now watch as Chelsea and Manchester United aim to move level on points with them when they play later this weekend.

Newcastle matched the energy of the home support as they sought to end the season on a high note at St James’ Park, but they were ultimately left frustrated and must now hope this is not a result which proves costly at the end of the campaign.

For all the hosts’ intent and probing, Jacob Murphy’s speculative shot from distance represented their only attempt on target inside the opening 30 minutes.

The absence of Callum Wilson from the matchday squad, after the striker’s two goals in three appearances since returning from injury, was felt as the hosts could not build on Longstaff’s leveller which lifted the crowd before the break.

Alexander Isak was unable to maintain his goal-scoring form as both he and Longstaff were denied by Bart Verbruggen, while Tariq Lamptey made a crucial first-half intervention to halt Gordon’s progress towards goal.

Gordon did no harm to his chances of making England’s squad for Euro 2024 with another energetic and influential display. While he will not receive an assist for his part in Longstaff’s goal, his contribution was deserving of one as he darted into the penalty area before playing in Anderson.

Sixth place, should they hold on to it – they do have a vastly superior goal difference to pursuers Chelsea and Manchester United, who they face next – may yet provide Europa League football if Manchester City win the FA Cup later this month.

Having ended a six-match winless run in the league against top-four hopefuls Aston Villa last week, this was another positive result for Brighton at the end of an inconsistent, injury-disrupted season.

Roberto de Zerbi said this week he was “disappointed for the past three months” but “for the rest, we have to be proud of this season” – one which brought the club’s first European adventure.

Captain Lewis Dunk could not hide his frustration with his team-mates as the Seagulls struggled to settle, but Veltman’s opener allowed them to threaten frequently on the counter and the returning Julio Enciso had several good chances to improve his side’s position.

It was ultimately their determination in defence that earned them a point, which leaves them 10th in the standings as they aim for a top-half finish with two home games remaining.

Everton 1-0 Sheffield United

Everton 1-0 Sheffield United. Everton enjoyed a successful send-off at Goodison Park this season with a Premier League victory over already-relegated Sheffield United.

The Toffees had ensured survival but triumphing in the last home game this term stretched their unbeaten run to five games, while the visitors became the first side to concede a record 101 goals in a season.

Abdoulaye Doucoure netted the winner on the half-hour mark courtesy of a close range header into an open net from Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s cross.

The midfielder could have had another on the stroke of half-time but sent a looping effort wide of the post on this occasion.

In between, the Blades battled bravely and Andre Brooks cut in from the left and forced Jordan Pickford into a sharp save low down with a powerful drive, their only shot on target in the contest.

In-form Everton travel to Arsenal on the final day with the possibility of having a say in the title race, while Sheffield United end their miserable campaign at home to Tottenham.

With blue skies above Goodison Park, the home supporters enjoyed a some-what party atmosphere, knowing their top-flight status had been assured for next season and they generously applauded the players off at full-time.

But the on-field security is counteracted by the continued uncertainty off the field with the protracted takeover by 777 Partners looking less likely as each day goes by.

777 figures have been almost ever-present during home games since agreeing to buy owner Farhad Moshiri’s 94% stake in the club in September, but nobody senior from the Miami-based private investment firm seemed to be in attendance on Saturday.

Boss Sean Dyche has spoken about planning for next season being made difficult, with the futures of out-of-contract players Seamus Coleman and Andre Gomes in doubt, while prized asset Jarrad Branthwaite could be sold to balance the books financially.

But all those worries were put aside for 90 minutes, as Doucoure – whose goal on the final day last season ensured safety – nodded home after goalkeeper Wes Foderingham failed to close down Calvert-Lewin.

After the 6-0 thrashing by Chelsea on 15 April, Dyche admitted to harsh words being spoken with his players and they have responded with four wins and a draw in their fixtures thereafter.

This was also their 13th clean sheet of the campaign, bettered only by title-chasing Arsenal, who the Blues face next Sunday with the opportunity of denying them the trophy should the race go that far.

Chris Wilder’s visitors, meanwhile, now have the unwanted record of shipping the most goals in Premier League season and they have also failed to keep a clean sheet in all 19 away games.

Only Sunderland and Derby have fared worse than their tally of 16 points and they will aim to end their dismal top-flight stay by retrieving some pride against Spurs.

Bournemouth 1-2 Brentford

0

Bournemouth 1-2 Brentford. Yoane Wissa scored a 95th-minute winner to help his Brentford side beat Bournemouth in a stunning finish at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League.

Bryan Mbeumo played in substitute Wissa, who buried his finish from a tight angle to give the Bees just their fifth league win in 2024.

After an even first 86 minutes Mbeumo gave Brentford the lead as Wissa met goalkeeper Mark Flekken’s long ball forward and set up his strike partner for an easy finish.

But fewer than three minutes later Dominic Solanke equalised, meeting Marcos Senesi’s cross with a looping header.

The match also contained two key Video Assistant Referee (VAR) interventions, with a Solanke goal ruled out in the 27th minute and Brentford denied a penalty after referee Matt Donohue had initially pointed to the spot for a challenge on Ivan Toney.

Brentford fans on the south coast went through all sorts of emotions in the last 10 minutes.

Having thrown away their initial lead, DR Congo forward Wissa was composed in the area to drill home his fourth goal in six matches.

The final whistle eventually came in the 104th minute, much to the relief of Thomas Frank’s side.

And most of that added time was caused by an overturned penalty decision.

In the 75th minute Ivan Toney went down in the box after appearing to be pushed over by Bournemouth’s Illia Zabarnyi.

Referee Donohue, overseeing his first Premier League match, had initially awarded a penalty, but was sent to his pitchside monitor by VAR and eventually overturned his original decision.

After securing their highest-ever Premier League finish of ninth last season, Brentford will have to settle for a bottom-half place this time around.

But this win at Bournemouth was a reminder of the side’s composure and efficiency in the final third.

Fulham 0-4 Manchester City

Fulham 0-4 Manchester City. Josko Gvardiol scored twice as Manchester City put the pressure on Arsenal in the title race by beating Fulham to move two points clear at the top of the Premier League.

In a game they dominated from start to finish, the visitors opened the scoring early on when defender Gvardiol produced a clinical finish after a good move opened up the Fulham defence.

Phil Foden then continued his excellent form this season with a second after the break, sending a first-time finish past Bernd Leno.

Erling Haaland should have added a third midway through the second half but the Premier League’s top scorer somehow drove high over when through on goal.

But Manchester City did not have to wait long for another goal as Gvardiol stabbed in at the far post to put the result beyond Fulham.

Issa Diop was shown a second yellow card in stoppage time as he brought down Julain Alvarez inside the box, and the Manchester City substitute then duly converted the penalty.

The result means the Gunners head to Manchester United on Sunday needing to win to be certain of taking the title race to the final day of the season.

Manchester City are at Tottenham on Tuesday and if Arsenal fail to get a positive result at Old Trafford then victory will seal a fourth consecutive Premier League title for Guardiola’s side.

Arsenal’s capitulation in the crucial stages of last season’s title race meant it was ultimately a pretty comfortable win for Manchester City.

But this time they have been pushed harder by Mikel Arteta’s men, and Guardiola stressed earlier this week that there could be no margin for error in their pursuit of another league trophy.

Against a Fulham side with nothing to play for, coupled with an impressive run of 15 straight wins against the Cottagers, a slip-up always looked unlikely at Craven Cottage.

And so it proved as they dominated throughout to make it seven successive wins in the Premier League, scoring four goals or more in six of those victories.

Arsenal are still very much in the title race, and a win against Manchester United on Sunday would put the pressure back on City, but the manner of this comfortable win indicates that Guardiola’s side are showing very little sign of nerves when it matters.

Fulham needed to win to keep alive hopes of matching last season’s top-10 finish, but that was always going to be difficult against a Manchester City side going for the title.

The hosts did make an energetic start, with City struggling to get a touch of the ball for the first couple of minutes, but with Gvardiol’s goal the visitors were firmly in control.

Fulham had one moment in the second half when they caused some alarm for the City defence, Rodrigo Muniz’s flicked effort deflecting towards the far corner before Ederson was able to scramble across, but they were otherwise largely toothless.

While relegation has never been a concern it has been a disappointing end to the season for Marco Silva’s side, having won just one of their last eight Premier League games.

Gunna Takes Shots At Drake On New Album One Of Wun

0

Gunna appears to have joined Drake‘s army of enemies by taking shots at the 6 God on his new album One of Wun. Released on Friday (May 10), the project finds the YSL rapper, who has no shortage of adversaries in the rap game himself, seemingly aiming thinly veiled jabs at Drizzy on more than one occasion.

Gunna

On the track “Still Prevail,” Gunna raps: “I clear all the tabs/ They pay for their abs.” The line echoes claims made by Kendrick Lamar and Rick Ross in recent weeks that Drake underwent surgery to give himself a more defined stomach.

“You had that surgery, that six-pack gone. That’s why you wearin’ that funny shit at your show. You can’t hide it, n-gga,” Rozay sneered at the end of his diss song “Champagne Moments,” while K. Dot rapped on “Euphoria”: “Let your core audience stomach that, then tell ’em where you get your abs from.”

Gunna also appears to reference the longstanding ghostwriting allegations surrounding Drake on “Collage,” rapping: “Thank God I didn’t need a writer/ I work but they think they entitled.”

Gunna

This subject has also been used as ammo against the Toronto native by Rozay and Kendrick, with the latter saying on “Euphoria”: “Ain’t 20 v. 1, it’s 1 v. 20 if I gotta smack n-ggas that write with you.”

One of Wun can be streamed in full below.

Many fans were expecting Gunna to have Smoke for Future on the album after the Freebandz boss appeared to throw shade at him on social media.

Earlier this week, Pluto hinted at releasing a new mixtape on May 10, the same day One of Wun was scheduled to arrive, and wrote: “Fuck yo album Shit ain’t slappin like my MIXTAPE.”

Seemingly interpreting the tweet as a shot in his direction, Gunna wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account: “Turn this shit back up Notch……! Fuc What These boys talkin’ bout.”

Gunna

Future’s post, it turns out, was a reference to his new collaboration with Tee Grizzley, “Swear to God,” which includes the aforementioned line.

The “March Madness” rapper previously appeared to shade Gunna earlier this year, presumably due to his relationship with Young Thug whom Gunna has been accused of snitching on. Back in March, Future’s X page posted a link to Gunna’s music video for “Prada Dem” featuring Offset, before deleting it hours later.

He then posted a snippet of “Type Shit,” his collaboration with Travis Scott and Playboi Carti from his and Metro Boomin‘s We Don’t Trust You album, which includes the lyrics: “I don’t hang with rats, that’s some new type shit/ Get a n-gga whacked on the news type shit.”

Gunna

Gunna has vehemently denied snitching as part of his plea deal in the ongoing YSL RICO case that secured his release from jail.

“Got my boot!” he wrote in the caption. “The road to recovery has begun. Here are some xrays after the surgery, I wanted yall to see how real this shit was. I’m a cyborg now.”

Check out the post below.

Kid Cudi

The 40-year-old rapper and singer ended up breaking his foot when he jumped off the stage during his last-minute performance at the festival in California, though he learned a valuable lesson in the process.

“Um, yeah. Shit got real yesterday,” he said while lying in bed. “This is what happens when a 40-year-old man tries to prance around off stage like he’s 26 like he used to do back in the day. I learned a valuable lesson — no more prancing around and jumping off stages.

“I’m hoping that I’ll be healed up in time for the tour. That’s the plan. I don’t wanna let you guys down, so yeah, that’s what we’re aiming for. Not canceling anything just yet.

Kid Cudi

He continued: “Just gonna wait and see how things go. But I’m okay; a little sore. Yesterday was a lot of pain, but I’m doing better now. I have a little temporary cast on and I gotta go get a real cast in a little bit. Apparently, I broke something in my heel.

“This is a major setback. But don’t worry, I’ma bounce back. I love y’all, all day! Engage the rage, but not at 40.”

Shortly after he broke his foot, Kid Cudi shared a message on social media in which he told his fans and followers that he wouldn’t be able to recover in time for the “Insano: Engage The Rage” world tour later this summer.

“Guys, so, I have a broken calcaneus,” he wrote. “I’m headed to surgery now and there’s gonna be a long recovery time. We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better to be out there in top shape to rage with you all. There’s just no way I can bounce back in time to give 100%.

Kid Cudi

“The injury is much more serious than I thought. Anyone who bought tickets will get a full refund, you’ll get an email soon. We will be back with new tour dates as soon as possible, and I can’t wait to get back out there with you guys and turn up how we do. I’m so sorry fam and I love you all so much, thanks for the endless love and support.”

He concluded: “I’m really disappointed as I’m sure you guys are too, but I will be back. That’s a promise [wink emoji, pink-hearts emoji, heart-shaped hand-gesture emoji] I’m ok, just a little soreness, but I’m in good spirits [blushing emoji].”

G-Eazy Actually Went to Dinner With Jay-Z and He Says It Was Life-Changing

0

G-Eazy is an advocate for the former option in the ongoing dinner with JAY-Z or $500k debate, as he once dined with the Hip Hop mogul and found the experience to be “life-changing.”

G-Eazy

During his appearance on Carmelo Anthony and The Kid Mero’s 7 PM in Brooklyn podcast that was published on Thursday (May 9), the Bay Area native recounted sitting down with Jay in New York City while working on his sophomore album Must Be Nice, which dropped in 2012

“I’m in the last week of recording, finishing it, and one of my managers, who’s a Jedi master, a legend in this industry, Gee Roberson goes like, ‘I’m pulling up. We’re going to dinner.’”

Though he was inclined to say no because he was laser-focused on the LP, G eventually agreed to go.

G-Eazy

“I still don’t know where we’re going or why the dinner,” he continued. “I’m not in New York to have dinner. I’m here to finish this. We’re going and the whole drive there, I’m like, ‘Brother, how are you going to tell me what?’ We get to the spot and the hostess says, ‘Can I help you?” And [Roberson] goes, ‘Yeah, we’re at Shawn Carter’s table.’ I’m like, ‘Dog, the fuck?’

“I sit down and it’s like [JAY-Z’s] in the corner and he just looks up at me and he’s like, ‘How’d you get here? What’s your story?’ I started panicking. But then we just got into the convo and it was a life-changing kind of evening.”

CyHi The Prynce would also choose a dinner with JAY-Z over $500,000, despite the legendary rapper’s recommendation to the contrary.

In October, the former G.O.O.D. Music rapper retweeted Gayle King’s interview with Hov where she got his take on the long-running debate — and said he’d still take the dinner, citing Jay as the reason Kanye West wanted to sign him.

G-Eazy

“I’m taking the meeting with @sc aka Jay Z,” CyHi said. “I don’t care what y’all say 500k ain’t no real money and most people who would take it Have never made any real paper!!!! I’ve made more than that annually the last 13 years of my career and that was after I met with Jay Z.”

After a fan asked if his high income had come as a result of JAY-Z, he continued: “Yes he told Ye to sign me [shrug emoji] and got on so appalled and I got a pub deal for a half of ticket plus touring plus royalties and a salary. I was broke when I met Jay Z I had 1500 dollars to my name. I just had got evicted from my crib and I had to borrow money from @GregStreetV103.”

The topic was reignited on social media at the time after a fan caught up with Hov himself and informed him he’d take the money. Gayle then got the Brooklyn native’s advice during an interview, and he explained why he too would take the cash.

G-Eazy

“You gotta take the money,” he replied with little hesitation. “What I’ma say? You got all that [wisdom] in the music for $10.99! That’s a bad deal. I wouldn’t tell you to cut a bad deal. Take the $500,000, go buy some albums and listen to the albums — it’s all there!”

He went on: “If you piece it together and listen to the music for the words, for what it is, it’s all there. Everything that I said was gonna happen, happened. Everything that I said I wanted to do, I’ve done. There’s the blueprint. The blueprint, literally, to me and my life and my journey is there already.”
