Popular fashion designer badly assaulted by reality TV star

Fashion designer Sihle Masango has accused his ex-lover Andzelo Tivani, who is also Faith Nketsi’s personal assistant of domestic violence. Sihle of Masango Designs has opened a case of assault at the Sandton Police Station after he allegedly beat him up.

The designer to stars such as Nomalanga Shozi, Faith Nketsi, Boity Thulo, Thando Thabethe to name a few, tells ZiMoja that he and Andzelo, who stars on the reality show Have Faith, have been dating for a year and a half and never thought that some of their heated arguments would end up getting physical. Sihle says he had broken up with Andzelo when the incident happened. “We broke up on the 3rd of February this year but he came to my house accusing me of dating someone who I can’t name.

When I told him I wasn’t, he started beating me.” Sihle says he hit him several times on the face. “I don’t know if he used a knife or what, it all happened so quick. I just felt a sharp pain from a punch and I started bleeding in my eye and couldn’t see because of the blood.”

Sihle says this was not the first time Andzelo got violent with him. “He once strangled me in the club while he was drunk,” he says. “I forgave him because I loved him and didn’t think it would happen again or escalate to something so drastic.” Sihle says when they first started dating, he did not see the red flags. “Maybe I was blinded by love, I did not see any red flags. When he first strangled me at the club, I couldn’t believe it.

Sihle says although they have separated, Andzelo refuses to let go. “He doesn’t want to let me go. I have had enough. He will kill me. Last week Thursday he came to my house drunk and caused a scene. I told him to go home. Today he came and beat me. I am scared because of him.” Andzelo did not pick up calls for comment. The police were still processing the case.
