Infamous South African gossiper Musawenkosi ‘Musa’ Khawula has been arrested due to a murder case. The controversial socialite was arrested due to an outstanding warrant after failing to appear for a civil case in the Vredenburg Magistrates Court.
The arrest happened while he was attending a murder trial for the alleged murder of his boyfriend in March 2022.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Eric Ntabazalila said, “The sheriff of the court came and said he has a warrant for his arrest for a civil case in Gauteng. He was then arrested in court (Vredenburg). His case was remanded to 7 August 2024 for judicare.
According to the report, Musa is yet to get a lawyer, as his former lawyer withdrew from the case.
