Latto Explains How Insecurity Led To BBL Surgery

Latto has explained how suffering from insecurity when she was 21 led to undergoing a Brazilian butt lift procedure. Speaking in a video on social media, the rap star opened up about her decision to have BBL surgery and how it came from a negative place.

“I gained a little weight because I signed my deal when I had just turned 21,” she said. “And I was just having money and living a whole new life. Eating out, y’all know I’m a foodie, so now I have the funds to feed this foodie in me.

“I gained a little weight, and everybody on the internet was calling me bad body and stuff, so I feel like that played a role.”

She added: “I started being a bit insecure about my body. People were saying I’m built weird. I mean, not weird, but it was like, ‘Your white genes.’ And I was just young and impressionable.”

As well as her actual body, Latto’s body count has been the subject of much discussion after she rapped about it in a teaser for a new track.

Previewing a new song on social media, she rapped: “Anyway, body count so low I might say I’m a virgin.” After the lyrics received a great deal of attention from fans, Latto hit back at the talk about her sex life.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, she wrote: “Why are ya’ll in an uproar about my body count & mystery man,” with her later adding: “Ya’ll ain’t gon rain my parade no mo.”

On X, formerly Twitter, Latto also divulged more information about her relationship, writing: “Fun fact my man really is the first and only n-gga I let hit on the first date [cat emoji] & we 4yrs in.”

Latto has never publicly revealed who she’s in a relationship with, but she previously revealed he sends her private jets to pick her up.

“He still sending jets for sum coochie he has been in for 4 years [heart face emoji],” she wrote over an Instagram video of her flying private. “That’s my boo daddy.”

For years, rumors have abounded about the identity of Latto’s man, with many believing him to be fellow rap star 21 Savage after the two got tattoos seemingly dedicated to each other.
