The Amapiano singer said the Water hitmaker should have rocked an African print or Maxhosa to the international event.Lady Du retuned to Twitter after being dragged to explain that she wasn’t aware that the event had a theme.

“Guys let me apologise I didn’t know what the theme or occasion was, I saw after I commented. I’m a huge supporter of local brands I commented without knowing what’s going on as y’all know I don’t do red carpet events at all. I’m not informed on a lot of things. I’m literally a plain Jane nje. If I offended anyone by mentioning maxhosa askies,” Du wrote.

Lady Du further said she’s been a supporter of the 21-year-old singer, hence no hate.

“I love tyla y’all know I’ve been supporting her way before water like every other artist I post on my wall. Danko. I only go on socials to post my things if I come across something I’ll comment, like or share. I support everyone
