The federal investigation into music mogul Diddy is progressing, with authorities issuing a new grand jury subpoena linked to a luxury Miami hotel.
According to recent legal documents obtained by TMZ, federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York have demanded the hotel produce a range of documents and evidence related to Diddy. The subpoena specifically targets reservation records for Diddy, his ex-partner Daphne Joy, and other associates of the Bad Boy Entertainment CEO.
The subpoena covers a broad timeframe from January 1, 2008, to the present, seeking detailed information including check-in and check-out dates, room numbers, guest preferences, billing information, and room service orders. Additionally, federal prosecutors are requesting email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, payment methods (both cash and credit cards), computer IP addresses, login details, identification copies, and vehicle information. Surveillance footage from the hotel is also being requested.
This recent subpoena, issued only a few weeks ago, indicates that the investigation into Diddy is still active. In March, Homeland Security agents conducted raids on Diddy’s properties in Miami and Los Angeles as part of an ongoing probe into allegations of sex and narcotics trafficking. TMZ has also reported that a federal grand jury has been convened, with witnesses potentially summoned to testify in the Southern District of New York.
In addition to the federal investigation, Diddy faces eight lawsuits alleging sex trafficking, sexual assault, and physical abuse. The most prominent of these was filed by his former girlfriend, Cassie, though it was quickly settled.
Representatives for Diddy and Daphne Joy have declined to comment on the matter.
