Drake has made a special request to Toronto’s news channel CP24 — let him get some sleep. The star took to his Instagram story on Saturday (May 11) and tagged the station in a message, saying that their helicopter flights over his house were keeping him awake.
“@cp24breaking news can we discuss the chopper flight times over the house cause I won’t lie I’m trying to sleep,” he wrote. “Anytime after 3 pm works great for me.”

The constant chopper flights over Drake’s Toronto mansion are presumably a response to several recent incidents at the property. In the early morning hours of May 7, there was a shooting near the estate that left a security guard with serious injuries.
The following day, a man was stopped by security as he was trespassing on the property.
Law enforcement was alerted after the Canadian superstar’s security team stopped the person from entering through the front gate, following which he got into a brief altercation with those who stopped him — he claimed that he was “here to see Drake.”
“Officers were called after a person attempted to gain access to the property,” a Toronto Police Department representative told XXL. “The person was apprehended under the Mental Health Act.”
The day after that, May 9, there was another trespassing incident. The culprit allegedly got into an altercation with security before police arrived at the property, with the suspect then taken to hospital.
It was not reported what, if any, injuries the trespasser suffered that required hospital treatment.
It is not known if the three incidents are related to each other or have anything to do with Drake’s various feuds with Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, and A$AP Rocky, among others. It is also not known if Drake was at home at the time of the incidents.
The rapper’s mansion was recently used as fodder in his high-profile beef with Kendrick, with the Compton rapper using a satellite picture of the property as the cover art for his scathing diss song “Not Like Us.”
The image was peppered with several red markers, allegedly from a sex predator app. Kendrick accused the 6 God and some of his close associates of being pedophiles in the song.
These are claims that Drake denied in his response record “The Heart Part 6.”

Drake has put his Beverly Hills mansion up for sale again, a year after the first time he tried it. TMZ broke the news that the rap superstar has re-listed his 25,000-square-foot estate at an asking price of $88 million. That’s $13 million more than he paid for it when he bought it from English singer Robbie Williams in 2022.
It’s also the same price Drizzy asked in May 2023, when he first put the house up for sale. The house’s new listing says that it is “perfectly suited for grand scale entertaining and showcasing world-class art collections.” Read more
