Dr Nandipha Magudumana collapsed in the police holding cells at Parkroad Police Station in Bloemfontein before appearing in court this Wednesday morning.
Nandipha’s lawyer said she was forcefully transported from Bizzah Makhathe Correctional Service in Kroonstad to Bloemfontein despite informing the officials that she is ill.
“Her lawyer Machini Motloung has gone to her at the holding cells to check [on her] and apparently an ambulance has been called,” SABC broadcaster said. Meanwhile, Thabo Bester and the other accused have appeared in court. Social media users are buzzing over the saga.
