Chidimma Adetshina has withdrawn from the Miss SA competition

Chidimma Adetshina has withdrawn from the Miss SA competition. This follows the Department of Home Affairs announcing yesterday that it had reasons to believe that her mother might have committed fraud and identity theft.

In a statement, Adetshina says, “Being part of the Miss South Africa 2024 competition has been an amazing journey, however, after much careful consideration, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw from the competition for the safety and wellbeing of my family and I.
